A great way to see the Lakefront.

| We enjoyed the tour very much. The training beforehand was good, and we were happy that our trainer, Steve, was with us on the entire tour to continue to add pointers about riding the segways. The CAF docent, Maurice, was also excellent and gave us a great deal of information about the city. We had some interesting views of the city and gained a new appreciation for the Chicago lakefront.
The fact that we would be standing for the whole tour did not "register" with us and we were very tired by the end, but it was an experience that we would not have missed. |

| The Segway experience was great fun, combined with the Chicago Lakefront and a bright and friendly docent, it was a memorable experience. Our Segway shepard, Mike, was extremely helpful getting the group comfortable and competent on the touring machines. |

| We did the Chicago Architecture Foundation Segway tour. Our guide was fantastic. It took about 10 minutes to get comfortable on the Segway, and about 5 minutes more to feel like an expert! It was so much fun and I wanted it to go on all day. In our 2.5 hour tour, we were able to cover much more ground than if we were walking. I would do this tour again without hesitation, and in future travels I will seek out other Segway tours. |

| Having previously seen people zipping about on Segways in various places, I looked forward to having this experience personally and was not disappointed. The orientation doesn't take much time athough to really feel completely at ease whilst driving your Segway not as part of a group with support staff along with you, would probably take a bit longer. But it's worth it in all respects! Lots of fun and a very different and pleasant way to see some of the great improvements in Chicago's parks. Take the plunge and sign up--it's a great 2 1/2 hours and the Segway staff is very supportive and helpful. |

| My husband and I were in Chicago for a wedding and found time to take the segway tour. The staff was great--very attentive! We would definitely do it again. |

| We went on this tour in early April. The docent from the Architecture Foundation did not show up. The Segway folks provided the Segways and a leader, but there was no description of buildings or of the park system. We enjoyed the ride thru Grant Park but it was not the tour we had expected. |

| This tour was my first opportunity to ride. The Segway was very cool and was quick to learn. Cruising on a segway was a very fun experience and a different perspective on a city. However, the tour was underwhelming. I chose the architecture tour rather than the regular tour because I wanted the educational experience. But the tour was exceptionally dull. The information conveyed felt like it was coming from a user manual rather than an engaging novel. |

| Pleasant and friendly staff helped us with our tour. The segway experience is one I would not forget. Glad I was able to do this in Chicago. I was mostly enthusiastic about being on the segway. Very easy to ride and a lot of fun!!!!
I would purchase this tour again. It is fun when you do this with bunch of your friends!! Thanks guys :) |
