| I love the area (Grant Park and the Museum Campus) but because the Segway was new to me and somewhat challenging, it was hard for me to concentrate on what the docent was saying. Plus with thousands of people in for Lollapolousa in Grant Park, it was difficult to get around at times. I'm sure with more experience on the Segway, I'd feel more comfortable but the first time was a little scary and nerve-wracking. |

| My husband and I enjoyed our experience so much. The employees were warm and friendly and very organized. With someone at the head and back of our group from the segway place, I always felt safe and looked after. The only thing that I would change is the time spent on the "training" portion. It went on a bit too long with the film and the live instruction. I understand that safety is key, but I think that a live instruction and time practicing would have been enough. Very small complaint, however. I would suggest this experience to anyone looking for something different to do and for an interesting way to learn about Chicago's history. |

| We had 2 moms and 2 college kids in our group and we all agree: seeing the city on segways is a blast! Having lived in the city I felt like I had seen most of it, but this tour allowed us to go to places I have never seen before and offered unbelievable views of the skyline. Both our guides (from the Architecture Foundation and the Segway Experience) were great and very aware of what the group was doing (ie if we needed
help which we did occasionally). We have been recommending this to many people since our return home. It was great! |

| This is something a little geeky, a bit different and a whole lot of fun. The gang at Segway were terrific and professional. A good time had by all. |

| I had a great time and so did my 16 year old son. Great for everyone and our guide was so well-informed compared to other guides I overheard near some of the same sites. |

| While my wife was getting acquainted with a second, slower Segway, she missed the warning about approaching uneven cracks in the sidewalk at a right angle. She fell, got hurt and gave up the tour. Meanwhile, I had fun but found myself exhausted with the new nervousness I felt about the many uneven surfaces that our tour crossed. So it was fun but tiring for me and humbling for my wife. |

| 2 "young' adults(late 50's) adjusted to the segways with minimal difficulty
regular tour guide/instructor plus CAS docent who provided significant historical perspective. I think this depends on the specific docent based on other reviews. This is the luck of the draw. Easy way to cover significant distance. Would suggest more stops and picture ops as we only dismounted once in 2 plus hours. would do again on other tours. |

| I saw this tour last year on my annual visit from California to visit family. Much to my dismay, it was sold out for the days we required. So we booked it for this visit. It was well worth the wait. The tour was wonderful. Our guide was very informative and the guys who instructed us on the segway were wonderful I would recommend this trip to all my friends who might be traveling to Chicago one day.
Thanks for a great day! |
