| We had a great time on these Segways! It's the best way to cover a lot of ground up close while riding an interesting gadget. The 2-hour tour of Chicago's Museum Campus and the surrounding areas was awesome!
If you don't get there 15 minutes early, it's not the end of the world - they will still train you on how to use the Segways. It's still advisable to arrive early though. Reserve in advance since timeslots go fairly quickly!
Mike was our guide and he did a great job - though the other people there seemed equally nice. |

| We booked for the tour for the opportunity to try out a segway as much as to see Chicago's Grant Park. The machines are very intesting, we had plenty of training, and it didn't take long to master.
Our guide was very enthusiastic, and certainly knew her stuff about Chicago.
There were a couple of technical problems with some of the Segways, but they were quickly sorted out and I'm told problems are rare. They extended our tour by half an hour which more than made up for it. |

| There is no better way to take in Chicago's downtown lakefront and environs than the Segway tour. The tour covers much more ground than you could do walking and the view is much better than by car or bus. Plus, you go many places that cars and buses can't. Add to that the fact that riding the Segway is a blast, and you're bound to have fun.
On the downside, it's pretty expensive. And if you reserve ahead of time (tours are sometimes sold out early) you can't cancel because of weather--they go rain or shine, and I suspect tours can be pretty miserable in the rain. It can also be very chilly, so dress way warm! |

| We did the park tour on a Sunday morning and had a great time. It was our first time ever riding a Segway and our tour guide (Andrew) was terrific. Learning to ride the Segway was fairly easy, but did take a little getting used to. We covered a lot of ground on the tour, so were able to see a lot in a short amount of time. I would definitely do it again or maybe try the Architectural Tour next time. Bring gloves if it's chilly out! |

| I am a Chicago resident and took the tour with my best friend who lives in Philadelphia. The tour had the perfect balance of interesting info about the areas covered in the tour, and moving around on the Segways (which was really the main attraction!). Jeff, our tour guide, was so personable and patient with those in our group who took a little longer to get the hang of the Segway. He had a great sense of humor and good stories to tell. Two hours was just the right length of time for the tour--although since the weather was perfect on the day we went, no one wanted to get off the Segways!
One of the people in our group was in her late 60s and took a little longer to get a feel for how to move the Segway, but she did it and good for her! The minimum age for the tour is 12 and I think some 12-year-olds might not be good candidates unless they are mature (not daredevils), have good balance, and can understand the concept of shifting their weight to control the machine. I highly recommend this tour! |

| This was our second experience with a Segway Tour, the other being in Washington D.C. both have been wonderful. The tour guides were informative and definietly put safety first.
As for getting accustomed to riding the Segway that took about 5 minutes. They are incredibly easy to manuever.
We would recommend the experience for everyone. |

| We had excellent guides and they were very patient as they taught us to ride. One of my friends was very nervious about the activity and our guide was very reassuring and she got over her fear quickly and really enjoyed the tour. It's a great way to see the parks and attractions and it gives you a great feeling of adventure and fun in the process. |
