| Great fun and a wonderful way to see the waterfront.
The scooters were very easy to learn, even my less athletic daughter picked it up in minutes.
Our facility was equipped with only slightly older models which turn Lt/Rt via a handlebar 'throttle' type control. - worked fine but newer scooters turn by leaning Lt/Rt and tipping the handlebar post. Looks more ergonomic but apparently *some* folks prefer the older style. I wish I had the choice.
Our group had only our family of four - ideal - but groups can range up to 10 or so it appears - might be less fun in such a crowd. (we reserved an early time, perhaps that is a good strategy?)
Great Staff, Omar and Andrew were very helpful. |

| The Segway Experience is a great way to see a lot of Chicago in two hours. Our guide was helpful, friendly and eager to tailor the experience to the needs of the group. A good time was had by all. |

| It was a cold day, but it was a blast to ride a Sedway. the instructions were very good, and safety was emphasised. It was really easy to learn and become comfortable riding it.
The tour was interesting, saw somethings I had not seen in along time. I would reccomend this to tourists that visit Chicago, as well as people who live here. I will definatly do this again. I am even thinking or buying one. |

| There is no better way to take in Chicago's downtown lakefront and environs than the Segway tour. The tour covers much more ground than you could do walking and the view is much better than by car or bus. Plus, you go many places that cars and buses can't. Add to that the fact that riding the Segway is a blast, and you're bound to have fun.
On the downside, it's pretty expensive. And if you reserve ahead of time (tours are sometimes sold out early) you can't cancel because of weather--they go rain or shine, and I suspect tours can be pretty miserable in the rain. It can also be very chilly, so dress way warm! |

| This was our second experience with a Segway Tour, the other being in Washington D.C. both have been wonderful. The tour guides were informative and definietly put safety first.
As for getting accustomed to riding the Segway that took about 5 minutes. They are incredibly easy to manuever.
We would recommend the experience for everyone. |

| My husband and I purchased the segway experience for my brother and his wife for a Christmas present.
What a wonderful time we all had!! Laura was just great and made our experience even more enjoyable.
If I had one thing I would recommend - it would be more practice time upfront, so you feel more sure of your self driving the segway.
Other wise a totally enjoyable experience! |

| Our guide was excellent and knowledgeable about Segway and about Chicago sights. I was nervous about learning to use the Segway but it turned out to be very easy and a very fun experience. It's great way see a lot without long, long walks or taking the buses, etc.
Worth it! |

| This was a fun experience. It was a gorgeous day and after a training session we took off and had a great time touring Grant Park and the museum campus. The tour guide was informative and friendly, and made sure we were all operating the Segway safely and gave us plenty of warnings.
This did not keep me from clipping a wheel on the final block and falling hard onto the sidewalk. In fact, out of 8, 3 of us had mishaps. Mine was definitely the worst, and I survived, but I would not recommend this trip for the elderly.
I think we were adequately trained, but if you take this tour, know that accidents can happen and keep your attention on what you are doing - in my case another tour participant started up a conversation with me and I just looked away for a second.
I would also recommend taking this trip early in the day when the streets and parks are not too crowded. |
