| The Segway Experience was even more fun than I thought it would be, and I had very high expectations. Everybody in the group "got it" very quickly, and there were no mishaps of even a minor nature. It was challenging enough to be great fun. We had the opportunity to try out a variety of terrain -- uphill, downhill, concrete, grass and loose pebbles, and once we were all old hands at it, our guide, Paul, let us try his much faster Segway. The tour covered some of Chicago's lovliest sights, too. |

| Since the publicity of this revolutionary device first came to my attention, I had always wanted to be able to see what it really felt like to operate one of these gyroscopically balanced transporters. I had read about them, watched them demo'd on t.v. and observed them in the malls and airports. Finding one of the places that rents these out for a few hours allowed me and my wife the chance to exprience this without having to spend a lot of money. My wife was a bit apprehensive and even talked about backing out of the experience, since this transporter didn't look to her like it was safe to even stand on. Boy did she change her mind. The company gives some excellent pre-ride training to build up your confidence and after that, "let the fun begin". We had a blast and wished we could have spent more time with one of these toys. For something different on a nice afternoon date, here's the way to go! |

| For me and my group I would say words just can't fully describe this Segway Chicago Tour.
First the tour company that operates this adventure is, to say the least, laid-back and super friendly. Our group of 5 people arrived on time (half hour b4 tour) and were welcomed like we were Donald Trump or the like. We watched the short (and sometimes funny) video on the do's and don'ts of Segway operation. Were issued helmets and yellow vests. Assigned a Segway and wheeled (pushed) them across Michigan Ave to a park for training. Short and sweet training. Grasp handles, and get on the machine. After a 45 second test run we were given 10 minutes to practice. Then off to cruise some Chicago sites.
Grant Park, Field Museum, Soldier Field, Shed Aquarium, Lakefront and the Band Shell and many points inbetween.
TIM our AWSOME group leader is very knowledgable of Chicago history and current events. Tim has impeckable customer service skills, and a semi-comedian (don't quit your day job).
I am currently getting another group together so I can get back on two wheels, ASAP. |

| Alex was our guide very informative and made the tour fun we would of enjoyed a longer tour for the cost but would recommend this to anyone wishing to tour chicago without walking !! |

| We really enjoyed the new experience of riding/driving a Segway. Our teacher/tour guide, Omar, was great! He was a patient teacher and gave us confidence as well as teahing us about Chicago. He was able to read our group and interact well with us.
Our group ranged in age from 44 to 75 years. It was an activity that all of us could do with equal ability and enjoyment. The Segways worked well and all safety precautions were taken care of. Thanks! |
