What a fabulous way to see this beautiful city!

| Several weeks ago I realized that time passes quickly, and that I needed to alter my life in ways that would create more joy and laughter. The first plans I made were to spend a day sailing on the lake with friends, relaxing and telling silly stories that old friends share. The second was to register for the Segway Experience because I had heard from several people how much fun they had.
Sarah, our guide, was young, professional, and brimming with enthusiasm about the Segway and the Tour. We quickly learned the basics and began to make our way with greater and greater confidence through the Lakefront parks, weaving our way around Buckingham Fountain, the harbors, and south to Soldier Field. We passed under canopies of green, watching boats moving out on to the lake. It was a spectacular day!
I plan to do it again in the autuum when the leaves began to change and the lake reflects the deep azure of a late September sky... |

| This was part of our stay-cation, and we're so glad we did it! None of us had ever been on a segway before (me + 3 teens) -- anyone really can do it. Our tour guides, Sarah & Brandon were great. The weather was perfect, and the lakefront was gorgeous. We did the 5:00 tour, which is less expensive, and probably more comfortable temperature-wise, followed with dinner at the Berghoff -- another Chicago classic.

| My 12 year old grandchild loved the freedom of the ride. I thought my leader (Sarah) was excellent. I enjoyed the views of Chicago that I had not seen before. |

| Our 16 year old son said - "this is the most awesome thing he's ever done." That is certainly high praise coming from a teenage who usually just grunts.
The guides were friendly and extremely knowledgeable. An unforgettable experience. This is definitelyl on our list for or next trip to Chicago. |

| The route is great - taking you all over Grant Park, from the lakefront over to Soldier Field. And while I'm a local, I saw things I hadn't seen before. Our guide, Derrick, was fun, knowledgeable and very patient teaching us Segway newbies. I highly recommend this tour - for locals and visitors alike. And be sure to bring your inner child - the Segway's are so much fun. |
