| The only reason to take this tour is to have fun on a segway for about 2 hours. |

| I had a great time on my tour. The tour guide was very helpful and patient with my mom and helped her feel more comfortable on the Segway. I would recommend this to locals and tourists! |

| It was a cold day, but it was a blast to ride a Sedway. the instructions were very good, and safety was emphasised. It was really easy to learn and become comfortable riding it.
The tour was interesting, saw somethings I had not seen in along time. I would reccomend this to tourists that visit Chicago, as well as people who live here. I will definatly do this again. I am even thinking or buying one. |

| On the morning of my daughter's wedding, I scheduled a Segway tour for eight:
all out-of-town guests for the wedding.
We needed to change our Segway tour time and Amanda, the office manager, was extremely helpful in following through on our request. She made it possible for us to start the tour early so we could attend the groomsmen's lunch.
There had been some concern (from the wives) that someone might have an accident or be injured on the day of the wedding. I had inquired about the accident rate and been told that it was not an issue.
And it clearly wasn't. The group, ranging in age from 24 to 64, took about a minute to get the hang of it. It was great! Very intuitive and very easy to handle. Within moments, we were all rocking back and forth in place (great fun and a nice way to "feel" your relationship with the Segway) and then heading out and chatting easily as we toured the lakefront.
Our guides were great, too: both very personable and just fun to be with. Jeff's commentary was always interesting and insightful. Mike was helpful, too, offering to take pictures and, in general, looking after our group.
We covered Buckingham Fountain, the Museum Campus, Soldier Field, Millenium Park, the Bean and the Chicago Faces Fountain. The tour was over much too quickly. We could have gone another couple hours easily. But we had a full days' events to get to!
Everyone agreed that the Segway tour was one of the highlights of the weekend and we all said that we would look forward to taking Segway Tours in other cities.
But I'm definitely heading for the Chicago Segway Tour the next time I've got out-of-town guests in. The fun factor is off the charts! |

| Loved the whole experience. Only thing I didn't like was stopping to take a break in the park. Thought it was a waste of time, but probably some people can't be on their feet for that length of time. |

| I have done this Segway Tour several times - both with family and business associates and clients. All love it and have subsequently either returned on their own or have made plans to return on their own - taking either their families, friends, associates, etc.
It's a lot of fun. Having done both the summer and winter tours, for first timers I would definitely recommend the summer tours.
I love the experience and will do it again. |

| Anyone considering taking the Segway Experience should be aware of the company policy of refusing to give refunds for any reason. Since their website made it clear that their tours go out in all weathers (rain, sleet, ice, snow), I made and paid for our reservations online for the only timeslot available in our schedule. When we arrived at their showroom it was snowing on and off, with slush on the sidewalks (not hard ice), temperature around freezing. Our assigned Tour Captain had not yet arrived, apparently assuming that we would want to cancel because it was snowing. When he did arrive he said it was too dangerous to go out and that we would almost certainly have an accident, breaking a wrist or ankle, and possibly have to pay $500 for damage to the Segway; he made it sound pretty scary. He did not technically cancel the tour but put considerable pressure on us to cancel it, the hitch being that he would give us a coupon for another tour, good for a year, but not a refund. Then he declared he would not take us out, and left the showroom.
The person in charge, also a Tour Captain, said that if we absolutely insisted on going out, he would close the showroom and take us himself. Rather than forfeit $140, we decided to go, and he cheerfully prepared us and allowed us to modify our route according to our interests. Apart from the slush and occasional snow flurries, it was the highlight of our Chicago holiday. Our guide/captain was informative and cheerful and made us comfortable in our expedition, the Segways were really fun and practical, much faster than walking and much less exhausting. We covered a lot of ground, saw a lot, and had an exhilarating time, well worth $70 apiece.
We do feel, though, that the company's hard "policy" of no refunds under any conditions is unprofessional and a bit sleazy. There's apparently another Segway tour in Chicago, but I don't know what their policy is. |

| Loved the machine. Simply lean and move. Covered a lot of ground. Got a good feel for the downtown parks and lakeside. Personable guide and good equipment (the jumpsuits were a lifesaver in the cold Nov. wind). Highly recommended. Worth it. |
