Segway Experience of Chicago Park Glide Tour

Tim from Chicago was a great guide and it was a lot of fun. I am just sorry we did not give him a better tip. This was my first time on a Segway. FUN FUN FUN - Go for it. :-)

Touring parts of Chicago on a Segway added the icing on the cake of our vacation fun and raving about it afterwards became our vacation-conversation joke. With my group of no-reservations companions, it was an absolute blast. Learning it was easy and our cute little, well informed guide added to the fun. I plan to do this again next chance I get. I'm already mapping out my next Segway-City.

This is one of the coolest things to do in chicago! You maybe have many options of good things to do in chicago, but I would put this one at the very top of the list! Thanks for the incredible tour and service!!!!

What a great way to see Chicago! We went on the Park Glide Tour and at first where unsure how we would cope with the Segways, never having been on one before, but you get the hang of it quickly! After two hours we did not want to stop actually. This is a great, fun way to explore the beautiful sights of Chicago and highly recommended by us! Next time we visit, we try one of the other tours :o)

One word "AWESOME"! My friend from New Jersey was coming in for a few days and she wanted to see Chicago, so I went online to the Chicago Tourism site to see what we could do and this was one of the options. I read the information which was very informative and easy to understand. I made a reservation for Friday April 24th @ 1:30pm. We could not have asked for a better day, warm and sunny. Our guide was Will, a young gentleman who was absolutely adorable. We got a 15-20 minute lesson, which was very helpful and off we went. The tour we took was the museum campus' and it was great. Will was a very good guide. I am sorry to say that I do not remember the other guide's name but I know it was his brother so I apologize for not remembering his name. He was great as well. Once we were done with our tour we went back to the shop and I talked to the other gentleman and Dan to let him know what a great time we had. They are all great guys! I will definitely spread the word to everyone I know and come in contact with that this was the best experience that I have had in a while. I will be passing out the brochures that I was given to all my co-workers. Again, great experience, wonderful guides!!!! SEGWAY'S ROCK!

We did this tour in the hail and collectively decided to cut it short due to unexpected poor weather. Still, our tour guides were upbeat and had a positive attitude. The only thing was that they were giving out free t-shirts for the Chicago Olympic bid (probably a one-time thing), but they didn't have enough for my cousin and myself (but everyone else got one). I could care less about the t-shirt - it's the principle. Otherwise, these guys are great. This was my second time going with them. I'd still give them 5 stars.

My friends and I were in Chicago for our friend's bachelor party. I, being the best man, had the duty of coming up with activities to occupy us before the drinking fest began that night, so I thought it would be cool to learn how to ride a segway. At first, we were asked to put on these dorky looking hats and a bright yellow vest, which were not appealing at all. However, once we started learning how to ride a segway, all of us forgot about the helmet and the vests and really enjoyed ourselves. Being on a segway was comparable to skiing, only this time you are weaving in and out of people, cars, tree branches, etc. We were taking our tour during St. Patrick's day weekend, right before the huge parade and during the dying of the river, so we had to weave in an out of people (which was so much fun b/c it really tested your skills on the segway) plus we got girls that came up to us and began to flirt with us simply because we were on segways....by far, the most fun activity we performed that day while we were still sober. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

The Segway Experience delivered exactly what it promised; we received far more personalized attention than on a bus tour and covered more ground than on a walking tour. Our small group was far more intrigued by gliding with the segways than taking in the sights. Nevertheless, Mike was a phenomenal guide: patient, knowledgeable, and friendly--not to mention good looking! I highly recommend the Park Glide Tour. It is a phenomenal way to take in Chicago's museum district regardless of the season!

We were a little hesitant about how we could handle the segways but it turned out to be so much fun and our tour guide Josiah knew everything about the city, was able to answer any questions we had and was a great teacher for our first experience on the segways. We would recommend it to anyone and would do it again if we were in the area. We learned alot about the city, history, architecture and were able to see sights you normally wouldnt see from just driving by in a car or bus. I had purchased these tickets as a gift for my best friend and he loved it.
