The Most Unique Experience You Will Ever Have

We had friends from Rhode Island come to visit who had never been to Chicago before. What a wonderful way for them to experience the city (and for us too). The four of us were joined by six other beginners to tour the city. The tour guides we had were extremely patient training us on how to use the Segway. For beginners, not one of us had a problem using the Segway. The only suggestion I would make is to tell people to wear good shoes when they make their reservations, like sneekers, instead of flip flops as I had. They were also very knowledgable on the tour at every stop we made giving us some of the history of Buckingham Fountain, the Field Museum, the Planetarium and the Aquarium, etc. Our tour guides really made the whole experience extremely memorable. The paths they chose were not crowded and if you needed any help they were right there for you. We were sad to have the tour end. After two hours on the Segway you really get the hang of it and want to continue!! I would like to suggest that they have another tour that you could continue on with if you wanted to continue or a tour that was longer. I would also like to suggest that when you are training people in the use of the Segway that you mention that you should use the handicap ramps to get onto the sidewalks. It seems logical to use the ramps but our friends were not aware that there were ramps at each corner since they were not from Chicago. I will certainly be buying tours for Christmas presents this year and will definately take another tour. Can't wait for more company to come to Chicago - now we know what to do with them!! P.S. This is for ALL ages as I am in my 60's and found it easy to learn. |

Had a wonderful time!! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and tolerant of other more boisterous people in our group while at the same time being completely aware of our safety. You cover a lot of area in the time and this is great when you are a first timer in the area. We have already recommended this tour to everyone we have talked to!! |

The tour guides were great! We had a ton of fun. We could have definitely done without the vests though. The segways, instructors/tour guides and tour was well worth the money/time. |

The segway experience is new to me since I haven't been on one before. I found it easy to drive after the training. The short video clip showing the accident was a bit shocking but I understand the need to see the clip to make one aware of the dangers inherent in the ride.
My experince was informative as saw many places which I added to my MUST visit places.
Had Fun!Fun!! Fun!!! |

Store location was easy to find, staff helpful and equipment in good condition. The two young gals (Sarah and "Lissa" I think??) who lead our group had good personalities and were very good with all ages. My niece really liked them. Initial training was calm, clear, complete and done in a perfect little park area. I was also impressed with the attention to our safety, especially as we crossed streets.
We took the 2 hour park/museum campus tour. Many offer 3 hour tours and I am glad we did 2 hours. Just right for us. There was minimal city information offered but it was interesting. This tour is for those who want a pleasant segway ride with great city views not a Chicago education.
One change I would suggest is to make the rest stop sooner. It was about 3/4 of the way into the trip and that was too long to not be able to step off the segway. I have back/disk issues but I also noticed others trying to stand on one leg and move their feet around. Segways are incredibly easy to ride and that is not the problem. It is just standing in one position for that length of time is wearing. The break spot we used was perfect so another solution might be to have two short breaks.
I would recommend the company and this tour to either those who have not had a segway experience or for those looking for guest entertainment. My niece has now flown back home to brag to her friends that she rode a segway in Chicago! (Which really makes her old aunt look good! ;) |

We took a tour once before and had a marvelous time - were having visitors from CA and we knew they had to try this. They had so much fun and are now looking for opportunities in CA so they can do it again. Guides Sara and Lysa were great and very patient with us. Thank you to all. |
