Segway Experience of Chicago Park Glide Tour

My daughter and I had a great time seeing the sights in a low stress and unique environment. With traffic and the walking distance required to see so many things, Segway Tours offered the perfect option. The technique is easy to pick up after a short lesson. The guides are experts on the area so learning about these Chicago sights was fun. Now we want to Segway across the globe!

The Segway is easy. The instructors take time to teach each person individually. I'm originally from Chgo and I saw places that I had never paid attention to when living there (ie. Northerly Island). Sara and Damien were our instructors and they were the best! They are funny, very informative on Chgo architecture, and very patient!

We did the Segways more for the riding experience than a presentation of historical facts. We really appreciated that the guides polled the group before hand, and they cut out a lot of the talking because most of the group felt the way we did. We still got to see all of the great sights, but had more fun. We took along our 12 year old daughter and she had a ball. It was not a challenge for any of us to learn how to operate the Segways.

The Segway tour is a lot of fun. You cover a good part of the city and lakefront in two+ hours. You'll see more than you can ever see on foot in the same amount of time. You'll learn a little bit, too and riding the Segway is pretty easy and fun.

If you are even thinking about investing in a segway tour in downtown Chicago, do NOT hesitate to book now and you will not regret the awesome experiences. Our guide, Eric, was very friendly with all members of our family, treated everyone with the utmost respect, had a great sense of humor and knowledge of our tour stops, and all at a very affordable price. The kids raved about this part of our week long vacation despite doing all of the other great things there are to do in the Chicago area. we had time to ask questions, stop for pictures, and see MORE than was advertised. We saw other segway tour groups throughout the week and they did not seem as enjoyable or coordinated (but we are probably biased because we had such a fun time). We were worried about our ability to pick up the segway technology, but Eric had us feeling confident AND comfortable inside of 5 minutes. To say that they exceeded our expectations would be an under-statement. BOOK THEM NOW and enjoy the "ride of your life"!!!!!

We really enjoyed our 5 p.m. tour with Damien and Ryan on 7-9-12!!! They were fun and informative. The minute we were done my kids wanted to go again. Thank you :))

We all really enjoyed this tour. It was a great way to see Chicago. We were two seniors with teenagers. The seniors had no problem with the Segways.

Very hot day in chicago but got to see sights that we would not have without the segway. Jonathan was flexible and gave a good tour.

We were a family group with all ages and everyone very much enjoyed our tour. We all thought it was a lot more fun than we even had expected. Our tour guide was great in tailoring the tour to our group's preferences. He was knowledgeable, easy-going and very informative. Can't wait to try their other city tours.
