Segway Experience of Chicago Park Glide Tour

Several weeks ago I realized that time passes quickly, and that I needed to alter my life in ways that would create more joy and laughter. The first plans I made were to spend a day sailing on the lake with friends, relaxing and telling silly stories that old friends share. The second was to register for the Segway Experience because I had heard from several people how much fun they had. Sarah, our guide, was young, professional, and brimming with enthusiasm about the Segway and the Tour. We quickly learned the basics and began to make our way with greater and greater confidence through the Lakefront parks, weaving our way around Buckingham Fountain, the harbors, and south to Soldier Field. We passed under canopies of green, watching boats moving out on to the lake. It was a spectacular day! I plan to do it again in the autuum when the leaves began to change and the lake reflects the deep azure of a late September sky...

If you ever have the chance, this is a must! WOW. Our tour guide Aaron was fun, knowledgeable and a real people person. I took the tour with my two daughters (12 - 15), and he kept all of us interested. Learning how to ride and control the Segway was very simple and took just minutes to understand. It was a real unique way to see the City. Do not miss this!!!

My husband and I took our "almost" 15 year old grandson on the Segway tour in Chicago. My grandson thinks the Segway is the neatest invention since electronic games. And us "old folks" enjoyed it too. Our guide was very knowledgeable and able to answer all questions that were thrown at him. Segway beats a walking tour or a bus tour any day of the week.

My brother & sister-in-law came in for a visit. She was unsure about going on a Segway, but after we were done, she was the most enthusiastic. We had a great time, it was a gorgeous day and I would recommend it to anyone. The tour guide was knowledgeable and extremely helpful and it's a great way to see Chicago.

I took the 5pm tour and it was the best thing I did in Chicago. The weather was nice with a cool breeze and the two hours just flew by. I loved the Segway Chicago experience so much that I plan to take the Los Angeles tour.

Our tour was very entertaining. The tour Guide (TG) was funny and very relaxed with the group. The spots we stopped along the way were interesting and teh TG had unique comments and factoids about each. But I do know every one was exicted in just riding the segway as well. It was fun and I will be book another tour when I go to Chicago again.

The instructor couldn't have been better! The route was fantastic and showed us views of Chicago from new perspectives. The technology of the Segway is just incredible. We will take the tour again and have already recommended it to several friends and associates...
