| Took this one over other similar tours since it was "Segway Certified" - Was a blast - Ended up being able to "go off road" unlike other tours |

| Our group was male and female, ages 29, 50, 58 and 61, all originally from Chicago area but 2 were visiting from Texas and Calif. We are all related or in-laws.
We found the experience to have been fun and certainly a stretch out of our comfort zone. As I was getting on the Segway, my thought was, "Why did I even think to do this?", but after about 5 minutes, I felt much more comfortable. It actually felt good to try something so new and different. All of us had a wonderful time and came away with amazing memories. Our guide, Brian, was patient and helpful. There was an older man in our group (maybe around 70+) and possibly he needed more "hovering" because it was difficult for him. |

| After signing a waiver, viewing a short video, and being fitted with safety gear, we anxiously started our journey. Heading to a park across the street, we learned how to start, balance, stop, and turn on the Segway. We practiced our new skills until everyone in the group felt confident. This is when the fun really began. Our tour guide Mike, paced us through parks, the museum complex, and along the shore. We travelled mostly on level sidewalks, but we also maneuvered up and down slopes, a small grassy section, a little gravel, and across Chicago streets. Mike offered a great mix of historic and humorous stories about the city and the architecture and was also able to answer every random question posed by group members. He engaged each person in conversation and offered to take photos of everyone. The tour was a fast, fun way to see and learn about sites in Chicago. |

| Our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, several of the group members with whom we were placed were only interested in the ride, not the historical and cultural aspect of the tour. I think our tour guide felt limited by this. My husband and I would have liked a more informational tour. The riding experience was wonderful. We would recommend it heartily. |

| We did the Segway tour as a team activity for a group from work. It was a great experience, and everyone enjoyed themselves. Thanks for an awesome tour! |

| An older gentleman with us became light headed and dizzy. It was a hot day. He said that he really needed to sit down for awhile and he did immediately sit right down on the sidewalk. He looked pale. We all gathered around. My husband offered to sit with him while the rest of us continued on for a few more minutes. Then our entire group went back to that spot. He was feeling much better and was able to finish the tour. But there were a few minutes of uncertainty when it seemed that some 'tourists' would be feeling they did not get their money's worth and yet no one wanted to leave the man whose life might be threatened. Just perhaps there should be a way to call out back-up. My husband had a cell phone and would have called 911 if things got worse. The man said that he had had a heart attack before so he know warning signs. Just a scenario to study. |

| We are 65 and 66 years old and enjoyed the Segway tour immensely. It was easy to learn to use despite our initial apprehensions and it was fun getting around Chicago on wheels. Guides were patient with everyone and informative on the tour.
It would be nice if Segway could provide a "certificate of accomplishment" for first timers. It would provide a nice souvenir for tourists. Or perhaps a little Segway ornament as a remembrance of a great time.
We would definately do it again. |
