| My teen son and I enjoyed our tour very much. The segway experience was a wonderful way to spend a few hours on a sunny morning. The 2 hour tour was great, but 3 hours would have been more to our liking.
Learning to ride a segway was much easier than we had expected. After 10 minutes we were fully confident in our ability to navigate through the city.
Our tour was made even more pleasure filled by our tour guide Dave. He is a senior at Columbia College studying to be an actor. He has a very personable way about himself, and supplied us with many interesting factoids of the city during the tour.
The segways we rode were limited to 6 mph. Being able to experience the ride at the higher speeds the segway is capable of, is something we would wish to see in the future.

Do not accept "BIG BOY" when this company is out

| I had injured myself because of being given a huge Segway when I specifically asked for the smaller, more controllable segway but there were none left in the store to use. I really think the store representative should had used the big one and allowed the paying customer, like myself, use the one of my choice. The company leader did this so sneakedly----left me for last in the group (since I was the young guy--and said here is your SEGWAY--the "big boy". What could I say when no other one was available and everyone else had their vehicle and were ready to go? Terrible experience!
Never asked me is OK...just gave it to me!
I also expressed my concern about the competitor company giving one extra hour of riding compared to this one, but they would not listen. I wish I would had gone to the other company who was able to travel the Millenium Park. etc.
My next trip I will not come home with sores on my knees and elbows-----because I will be given the correct size Segway--the one I had specifically asked for paying $70. This company was not prepared for large crowds at all. They must remember the CUSTOMER.
One more issue---the brochure said come in one half hour earlier for training---that was not part of the two hours. I have no idea why 45 minutes of the two hours was taken up with training....not according to advertisement.

| This was truly our favorite tour of the city with the included fun of driving around on a Segway! This is the fourth time we have come to Chicago from San Antonio and the tour by far surpasses anything we have done, and we have pretty much done most of the tours of the city!
Thanks again for a great Seg-experience,
Carl
p.s.-We were so happy with our experience we bought the t-shirt too..... |

| Learning how to use the Segway was as much fun as going around Chicago on it. Tour guide was helpful and knowledgeable about various attractions along the tour. |

| Our family enjoyed the Segway tour a lot. I don't recommend it if you really want an informative or detailed tour of Chicago. It is really all about the Segway. Like most people taking this tour, I assume, I had never been on a Segway and was curious. It was easy to learn and very safe. The instructor was very patient and personable. The tour is a great way to spend time with the family and get oriented to downtown Chicago. It seemed expensive at $70 per person but was well worth it.
If going in the summer, I recommend sun block and sun glasses. A hat is not necessary since you wear a helmet. We were worried about punctuality but it was very relaxed and if you are late, I am sure they will wait on you. |

| The guide had good knowledge of the city. Everyone was comfortable with the machines before we left for the tour. By the end of the tour we could all manuver the machines as if we were walking. The views and locations we saw were great!
I would recommend this to anyone. |

| We are 65 and 66 years old and enjoyed the Segway tour immensely. It was easy to learn to use despite our initial apprehensions and it was fun getting around Chicago on wheels. Guides were patient with everyone and informative on the tour.
It would be nice if Segway could provide a "certificate of accomplishment" for first timers. It would provide a nice souvenir for tourists. Or perhaps a little Segway ornament as a remembrance of a great time.
We would definately do it again. |
