| We planned this activity as a surprise for a friend turning 50. Four of us (50 plus) and one 22 yr. old cruised the streets of Chicago with Dereck (tour guide). We chose the new tour offered that took us to Lincoln Park , the Gold Coast, beaches and I am sure more areas than I can remember. Despite the rain we had a very pleasant and fun trip Before we were midway through the tour we all felt more than comfortable and were cruising along with out any problems. At one point an older woman (70s) stopped us to talk about our tour ,she had been on the segway tours twice already with her grandchildren. Anyone can do this and should. | ||||||

| The day was cool but sunny and the city was showcased magnificently! Segways are so much fun and really are worth the price of admission. The guides were nice (we had a Chicago Architecture Docent as well), and did a fine job. The only thing is that I wish there were more stuff on the tour. The coolest part was on Northerly Island where we saw the Daphne sculptures--that was amazing and felt special to being on a Segway. The rest was more standard. It would be cool to think about things that are "only" accessible by Segway (meaning: best viewed on foot and too far to actually walk) and highlight those more. This tour is a must-see however! | ||||||

| My daughter and I will remember this experience for a long time. We were a bit at a loss of what to do with teens in Chicago - after schools in the US started again, many fun activities (Six Flags, for instance) are closed. Segway was our way out. Thank you so much for offering this activity. | ||||||

| From start to finish....the tour experience on a segway was absolutely a blast! Segway training from staff was informative and simple. Our tourguide Josiah was pleasant and highly informative on all areas of the tour. I was born and raised in Chicago, but did not have the history and knowledge of the areas we toured. Josiah's guide was outstanding and very detailed. Our group had a great time and highly recommend this experience to all. Would do other segway tours again! Job well done Josiah! | ||||||

| I was born and raised in Chicago but have lived in S. California for many years. The tour was great as all of your tours are. The Segway was fun and enabled us older but still active folks to cover a lot of distance without being exhausted. I would take another in a heartbeat. The only thing I wish we could get is an out line of the things we are seeing so I could name my photographs. Could you help me with a couple I can't identify after searching online? | ||||||

| Our family did the Segway tour as a group (children are teen-age) and we all enjoyed it tremendously. The tour was well-run, and the tour guide (Adam) was really good at providing tour-guide information, but balancing it with our desire to just ride for the fun of it..... He kept a good eye on the less confident riders, and provided lots of hints to help us adjust to the machines. The actual mechanics of the Segway were pretty easy to master - we were given a couple of minutes of one-on-one instruction, followed by several minutes of practice in a protected area, and that's really all we needed to feel pretty comfortable with the riding. The tour through Grant park provides really cool views of the city, and allows you to travel a lot more of the lakefront than could be managed on a walk. We picked a bright, sunny day, and it was equally fun for all of us. | ||||||

| I've always wanted to ride a Segway. I hoped I might get 5 or 10 minutes on one, but when we got the chance for two hours, we couldn't wait to sign up and go. There was a short orientation video that explained the device and its safety features (and safety measures). The Segway is full of technology that really makes it safe and easy to ride. We went across the street to the park where our tour guide, Sarah (she was fabulous) explained how to get on and drive the Segway. Though it looked simple, she came to each one of us individually, started our units, made sure got on o.k., and then made helped as as we went forward, backward, and in reverse. We then had some free time to drive in the perfect area to get acclimated to the Segway. Within minutes we found the Segway so easy and intuitive to drive I could hardly believe it. It is nimble, agile, and so well balanced it is amazing. I think you'd have to be quite uncoordinated to not be able to maneuver this thing. Anyway, we had a nice tour of a variety of attractions and our tour guide gave us some nice information about the area. I couldn't have enjoyed my time more! | ||||||

| We've been to Chicago at least a dozen times and have been to all the Museums (multiple times) and have taken several architectural tours but this was really something special, something unique. It was one of the most enjoyable things we've ever done since we first started visiting several years ago. We were surprised how easy it was to learn to drive and maneuver the Segway assigned to each of us. We aways felt safe and never worried about our abilitries to manage it properly. However, the thing that made it special was the docant - stopping and listening to the history he provided along the way made it more enjoyable than simply riding from here to there to someplace else. He pointed out things that we'll now go back to on our own and take and look at in a more appreciative way. Not to mention - we can't wait to try it again. | ||||||

| Although some in our group were experienced and others were just beginners, we all had a great time. The staff of My Segway Experience are friendly and take their time to teach you to ride the segway. They are as much concerned with keeping you safe as they are with making sure you have fun. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, although I do recommend the Park Glide Tour over the Navy Pier tour, as there is much more to see. I will definitely recommend a Segway tour of any sort to all my friends. Have a blast while seeing the city! | ||||||

| We had a great time with Adam, our tour guide. The weather was overcast, but it did not diminish our experience at all. We got comfortable with the Segways after only a few minutes and by the end of our two-hour tour of the parks, it was effortless to operate them. A really cool experience that allowed us to catch a ton of sights in a short time. You'll want your own Segway when you are done! Worth every penny. | ||||||

| Excellent. I did this in July as part of company outing, there was about 15 of us then. Last week I had 2 friends in from the Lake Tahoe area and this was one of the sight see tours we did. They loved it. The guide was excellent. Tom Mordock | ||||||
