| My husband and myself went on the Segway Tour, and it was fun. We saw parts of the city we hadn't really seen before, and it was beautiful. Our day was exceptional weather wise also. Fun time and great way to see Grant Park and Museum Park. | ||||||

| Wow. Riding a Segway is a thrill. I can't believe they haven't caught on more than they have. I may have to be the first Segway owner in Flagstaff, Arizona. Andrew, our coach, guide, docent, whatever you want to call him, was a trip. He was, first, conscientious, safety oriented and helpful; and second, he was fun, intelligent, Opinionated, and a hoot. And of course, there is the city of Chicago. What a wonderful playground for things like Segway adventures. When I return, I will definitely book another tour; the same one would be just fine for me. I should mention that my experience booking the tour with Zerve was a pleasure. I would book any tour they were the agent for through them again. | ||||||

| When I was given the opportunity to visit Chicago for a few days, I conducted internet research of the city's offerings to plan an itinerary. It was through this research that I learned of the Segway Experience of Chicago Park Glide Tour. A moderate sports enthusiast and seeker of new experiences, I was eager to try a Segway tour. In spite of having a strong desire to ride a Segway, I was initially a bit nervous and awkward in its use. I was too stiff and my movements jerky. But with a little practice I became more relaxed and fluid. I am grateful to Andrew our tour guide, as he was both patient and instructive. He even offered to take photos of me on my Segway along the way, something I appreciated as a solo tourist. I highly recommend a Segway tour, and this outfitter in particular. | We absolutely loved it and would do it again. They were a wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of the Parks, flowers, and Lake Michigan. Our guide was very knowledgable, patient, and had a good sense of humor. Our friends are planning a trip to Chicago in August, and we told them the Segways are a "must do". Our 13 year old grandson was easily the best and most comfortable on it, opting for one with "big wheels". | ||||||

| AWESOME Mike was such a great teacher and tour guide. Our group varied in age, but everyone was up to confident status on the segway after the short lesson and practice. Mike knew the facts about what he was showing us and was great at answering the questions and giving the extra tidbits of info along the way. We recommend this to anyone remotely thinking about it. | ||||||

| Positives: A truly unique and fun way to see the city and get around. What a memorable way to introduce our beautiful city! Could be better: The checking in process ate up too much time and was disorganized. It was hard for everyone to see and hear the safety video on a small laptop. Our CAF docent often focused on obscure local details which bored out of towners. He was "in training" so hopefully this doesn't happen all the time. Suggestion: I suggest asking the group if they are local or out of town first, so the docent can adjust his/her comments. | ||||||

| We arrived at the Segway office and there was one harried young man at the counter who tried to manage the crowd but was obviously overwhelmed. He could not meet the needs of the 2 large groups scheduled for tours, and repeatedly made desperate cell phone calls for help. Papers were not organized, and he had to ask several of us the same questions more than once, not able to listen to the answers because he was trying to do something else. We were told to gather around (20+ people) a laptop computer on a counter to watch a safety video hardly anyone could see. It was not designed for a person taking a tour, it was designed for a person who purchased a Segway and spent time talking about taking it out of the box and assembling it in addition to the safety portion. The laptop battery ran down 3/4 of the way through and the video was stopped. There were not enoudh safety vests in the facility for everyone on the tours. The entire tour started over 30 mintues late and some people needed to get refunds. Once the training for the Segway started outside and the Architecture Foundation started their portion of the tour, everything was fine. The tour itself was great, Segway staff helpful, and my only disappointment was we did not see all of the spots on the tour because of the 30 minute late start time. I definitely recommend the experience and the CAF tour, but htey need to make the check in process more streamlined and leave on time. | ||||||

| The tour was great! My group had a blast but we started 2 hours late due to employees not showing up to work on time. We were promised gift certificates for future use because of the lengthy wait but in the end we were not given the certificates...disappointing. | ||||||

| We went on a Segway tour last summer in St. Marteen that was nowhere as good as our tour in Chicago. We got to do a lot of riding, our guide was very knowledgeable, our group was just the right size, and the price was fair. We were also blessed with beautiful weather that day! | ||||||

| The Segway Experience was even more fun than I thought it would be, and I had very high expectations. Everybody in the group "got it" very quickly, and there were no mishaps of even a minor nature. It was challenging enough to be great fun. We had the opportunity to try out a variety of terrain -- uphill, downhill, concrete, grass and loose pebbles, and once we were all old hands at it, our guide, Paul, let us try his much faster Segway. The tour covered some of Chicago's lovliest sights, too. | ||||||

| Mike & Laura were wonderful tour guides. My son and I had I fabulous time. Our tour guides were very clear and thorough on getting us acquainted with the Segways and also in letting us know about the sites we were visiting. We had a marvelous experience. Thank you. | ||||||

| While I have lived in Chicago for over 35 years, you can never get tired of finding new ways to explore the city. My husband and I took our 16 y/o son on the segway tour and he hasn't stopped talking about it since. It's hard at this age to keep a teenage boy excited about doing things with their parents however he keeps asking when are we going to do it again. We took the tour begining from Navy Pier so we have 2 more tours to try. It was great and very easy! (I have limited use of my left hand and had no trouble riding it.) | ||||||
