Family segway tour

| I booked my family on a Segway tour and found it to be really a good experience. We had a 65 yr old, 45, 16, and 14. Everyone did fine as far as controlling the Segways, the kids caught on the quickest. Our tour guide was really patient, very friendly, and very knowlegable about the Chicago area and even gave us some suggestions of places to go. It was the highlight of the trip as I did it as a family surprise. All in all it was a great time but the cost is a major factor for those with a family. | ||||||

| We had a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide who pointed out the statues, fountains, and major buildings in Grant Park. The Segway was easy to learn and great fun to ride, a unique and memorable morning. | ||||||

| This was a great experience for us, we got to cruise around the city as if we were walking, yet able to go to places in a short time with the Segways. Never having been on a Segway before, it only took 5 minutes (or less) for each of us (two adults and one 13-year-old) to become acclimated and comfortable zipping around on the Segways. Tour guides were very friendly and pleasant, and full of info about the sights. In all, an excellent outing and well worth the money. | ||||||

| My husband and I choose to do a Segway tour because we were celebrating our 7 year anniversary. What a fun way to spend together, laugh and learn more about Chicago. We are locals but most of the information I gained was new information and things I did not know about the city. Our group was a nice sized group and our tour guide was very relaxed and made everyone feel comfortable. He took his time in helping us become familar with our Segways before touring and was available at all times if we needed help. It was a great experience and something I would recommend for both locals and those from out of town who would like to see Chicago in a different way. Thanks for a wonderful time! | ||||||

| The segways were a blast and quite hilarious to ride. I really enjoyed how much of the city we were able to see, out in the open air, in such a short amount of time. The information provided by the tour guide left a little to be desired, but the sites and areas we saw were great and (especially without the speed regulator) the segways were a lot of fun! | ||||||

| This was a great experience. The Segways are fun and easy to use. Our guide was friendly and outgoing. I am a local but we saw parts of the lakefront that I had never visited. My youngest son (12 y.o., 100 lbs) barely made the age and weight requirement but he had no trouble at all managing the vehicle. Highly recommended. | ||||||

| My friend and I have been talking about riding segways for a while now, so for his birthday I surprised him with a tour. Because we're from Chicago, I chose the Navy Pier tour instead of the Museum Campus tour. We booked for a Monday evening, so we had the tour all to ourselves. Our guide was great and was happy to adjust our itinerary to our interests. We covered a lot of ground and even made it down to Buckingham Fountain before our 2 hours were up. I would highly recommend it! | ||||||

| Very cool. Would definitely recommend. The tour guide, Eric, made sure we got our full time riding after some delays getting everyone going on their Segway, which was appreciated. I only wish we could have gone a little faster on the Segs. It was also a little pricey at $75/person. But overall, I felt like I got my money's worth while experiencing a truly unique ride around Chicago's park areas. One of the more memorable 'touristy' things we did. | ||||||

| The Segwey tour was a ton of fun!! The Segwey is easy and really fun to ride. We got to see a lot of Chicago and the tour guide gave us a lot of great historical information about the sites we visited. Just a really fun and memorable way to see Chicago. Highly recommend it and hope to do it again. | ||||||

| I was a little worried about trying the Segway at our age (59 and husband 62) but we really enjoyed it and would do it again. It was a fun way to experience Chicago. We go once a year so this was something different to do. I had read some comments on the Internet before we signed up so was a little concerned about my ability to balance on the Segway but it's really not about balance, just a matter of paying attention to turning and heel and toe action mostly. We loved the guides and they were great at making sure we were comfortable with the Segway before taking off on them. Great fun and we would recommend it to anyone and would certainly go again to see a different area of Chicago. | ||||||

| I booked this tour with my twin 12 year old granddaughters for "out of the ordinary" day with grandpa. The day was extraordinary. Our tour guide, Eric, was very patient getting all of us comfortable with operating the Segway and was personable, knowledgeable about the tour sites and took time to be sure we were all having a good time. I already have recommended the Segway tour and Eric to many of my friends and neighbors and the twins are telling all their friends about the cool trip they took with their grandfather. Thanks again for a memorable experience. | ||||||
