Segway Experience of Chicago

I like the fact that being late for the tours scheduled departure time they waited for my date and I to arrive...also the woman heading the tour was outstanding and had great info...

Andrew was the guide, and he did a good job. I love the Segway, in fact now that we are back home in Minnesota, we will do it here as well. It was everything the ad says that it is. I would have given it 5 stars, but I just wish it would have been a little more riding Segway and a little less talking about the various skyscrapers, etc.

We enjoyed the tour on segways. It was fun and informational at the same time. Eric told us history that we had not heard anywhere else from being on the other bus tour guides. It was nice seeing Chicago at street level. We enjoyed seeing the Grant Park Fountain being turned on for the first time this season. The only drawback was the uncleanliness of the helmets and safety vests. Other than that we had a great time.

This was such a fun tour! I knew it would be but it exceeded all my expectations. We explored the wide open spaces that offered some of the best views I have ever seen of Chicago and I am born and raised here. It really showed Chicago at all it's best angles. The guides were relaxed, easy going and knowlegdable...They were just a pleasure. I cannot say enough about this fun time I had and will be highly recommending it to all as I am a Virtual Concierge. :)

Jonathan and Eric our tour guides and instructors were awesome! They provided us with a quick tutorial, let us practice and then we were on our way! Definintely recommend this tour as it provided you with a history tour as well as a fun day out riding around! I was really nervous at first but quickly got the hang of it! My husband loved the tour!

This was totally fun and informative! Andrew and Eric did a spectacular job describing landmarks, people, and the significance of all! They were fun, knowledgeable, and answered all questions that were asked. My boyfriend and I will definitely return for another tour when we return to Chicago! Absolutely loved it!

You feel very safe even as a beginner after the pedagogic demonstration/practicing in the beginning. A fairly easy ride with some nice stops for sightseeing, rest and photos.

We went on a Saturday morning tour and it was freezing outside, but we were having too much fun to care. Our tour guide, Eric, was way cool and willing to customize our tour so we could see the sights that most interested us. I have to admit, I mostly signed up for the tour because I wanted to ride a segway... not as much for the sight seeing. This tour was perfect for getting to ride around, cruise on the segways, go up and down ramps, and across some grassy trails. Good times. I would definitely recommend it!!

It was a cold day, but the guys at the store offered all options for warm winter wear, all of which we declined...we should have taken them up on it. It was COLD but refreshing. Damian was a great coach and we all quickly learned the Segway. Despite the dire warnings about avoiding curbs, I didn't. No harm done, but Damian was calm while I picked myself up off the ground. Be aware and follow all guidelines! They are serious! The tour and historical trivia was awesome. We all had a great time and highly recommend this. I will do it again and take a different tour.

My fifteen year old daughter (who is VERY hard to impress) and I had a great time on our Segway Excursion!! Damian and Ed were amazing guides. They were informative as well as entertaining! The Segway was a blast! I wish we had had more time. You won't find a better time for the WHOLE family! Everyone will love it!

I really enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Ed, did a fantastic job showing us Chicago. I've been to the city many times, but this gave me a different perspective... showing how beautiful Chicago is. The Segway was easy to ride, too (and fun!!).

Had a great time riding the Segways around Grant Park, Soldier Field, and Shedd Aquarium. They were very easy to get the hang of riding. Our tour guide Ryan was full of good information about Chicago. Very fun!

Patrick and Eric was very accommodating to what the group wanted to do. Quick tutorial of how the Segway works and individual attention make sure each person is comfortable. Very informative to the area.

It was like riding my bike after the training wheels were off. I always wanted to do this and Ryan, our guide,made it very enjoyable and safe. It was a beautiful day and I could have gone on longer. The Segways are really amazing on how well they respond to your subtle weight shift. I highly recommend it.
