| The Segway Experience was an outstanding ride. After a short learning session, we spent about 1 1/2 hours riding through Grant Park in Chicago. The training was easy. Even my wife quickly took to using the Segway and she is not the most coordinated person around. The tour was led by an interesting guide. The only negative was that our legs were tired after the ride. It seems that slightly leaning forward to make the Segway go is more tiring than it looks. However, the entire experience was outstanding and I would highly recommend it to others; especially if you have teenaged children. We will certainly look for similar Segway tours in other cities. | ||||||

| I was taking a friend's son out for the afternoon and the Segway tour came up as an option. I was most excited about it as an idea but I wanted to give my 13 year old companion several choices. It was by far his top choice. . . I couldn't believe we agreed! I was so relieved that we were able to get reservations and do the tour the next day. I wondered if it would be worth the high price. I highly recommend it because it SO was! Riding the segway was surprisingly easy to learn and I think our whole group would probably agree as there were no stragglers or accidents. Our tour guide was nice, patient, & caring in addition to being passionate and knowledgeable about segways and Chicago. If you listened to him you got a fun, safe ride and some interesting trivia which I've already busted out on my friends a few times. My buddy gave the tour a rave review as well. | ||||||

| The tour guides, Steve and Matt, were very knowledgeable and patient. They provided a detailed explanation and individual help with the segways. Matt was very patient and encouraging with those who were not very confident on the segways and remained at the back of the pack. Steve was great with the architecture and history of the city. | ||||||

| We had 2 moms and 2 college kids in our group and we all agree: seeing the city on segways is a blast! Having lived in the city I felt like I had seen most of it, but this tour allowed us to go to places I have never seen before and offered unbelievable views of the skyline. Both our guides (from the Architecture Foundation and the Segway Experience) were great and very aware of what the group was doing (ie if we needed help which we did occasionally). We have been recommending this to many people since our return home. It was great! | ||||||

| Our family loves to participate in as many activities as we can while we're on vacation and thankfully, there was this Segway tour!!! I have two boys who don't do the "museum thing" so finding this tour was great! We were able to do something physical and also discover Chicago again (my husband and I went to school in Chicago). Our tour guide was great, very patient and the weather was perfect. I raved about this tour to everyone and I may even buy a Segway. The only awkward thing: riding along lakeshore with annoyed cyclists shouting at you! | ||||||

| We were a group of 8 mixed men and women, the oldest in our 50's youngest 19. Our guide, Mike, made our tour, from start to finish, very interesting. The instructions to ride a segway were adequate, everyone took to it right away and we all headed off to see the sites. The machines only go about 6 miles an hour for the tour, and can turn on a dime but it would be very hard to fall off since the machine is adjusting constantly to keep your balance. It is quite an experience, everyone in our group had a great time, one of the girls even called a few days later to say thanks again for putting the trip together. | ||||||

| I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked the tour but my 16 year old daughter and I both walked away pleasantly surprised. It did not take long at all for us to feel comfortable on the Segway. In addition to enjoying the novelty of buzzing around on the Segway, our tour guide, Alex, did a great job of keeping us entertained and safe on our journey. | ||||||

| This is not so much a tour as an excuse to ride around Chicago's lakeside area on a Segway. That was actually perfect for us. I'm sure the tour guide could answer conventional questions but nobody in our group of 7 asked any, and we saw a few offbeat sights and had a great time riding along the lake front, through some parks, and along city streets. The Segways are almost shockingly easy to ride and it's a great way to get around. Wear comfortable shoes! Even though you aren't walking you are on your feet for 2 hours straight. | ||||||

| My daughter and I were in Chicago for the weekend celebrating her 25th birthday. I wanted it to be unique and memorable. When I found this tour, it sounded great....though both of us were a little nervous of what to expect and how difficult it might be to drive the segway. Mike was our tour guide. He made the whole experience fun, funny and hugely interesting. Not only was the Segway easy to master, but it was so much fun to ride. Both of us were ready to kick it up to the next level of speed. And it was a really great way to see the waterfront. Mike was a fanstastic guide. He really new the city, gave us lots of interesting facts and kept the tour moving at a really good pace. All in- it was a really good time and surpassed my expectations. | ||||||

| I was a part of two separate segway tours - one Lincoln Park the other the Museum Campus. Both experiences were highly entertaining. I enjoyed the Lincoln Park tour the most. Our L.P. guide was attentive, informative and in a good mood. It was a rainy day so not many pedestrians; consequently, we had more freedom of movement than the lakefront tour. I felt the lakefront tour was too restrictive but I understood the tighter rules. The campus tour sites seemed to be the focus and the segway experience an aside; at $75. a ticket, I wanted more ride time. (Q. Is the gratuity included?) The actually ride time is about an hour forty minutes. All in all both tours were enjoyable but the price is prohibitive to repeat trips. | ||||||

| The Segway tour is quite fun. We took the Chicago Experience tour and it was through Grant Park and museum campus; it was more about the riding experience than the sights. Next time I would try the architecture tour. The Segway was great though, I want one! | ||||||
