Great tour and guide!

Jonathan was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and a great photographer while we were on the segways. He really captured the sights in our photos. I just wish they didn't ask us to show up 1/2 early. It was a waste of time.

An amazing adventure and great way to see the city

My son & I take a vacation every year to somewhere fun and this year we went back to Chicago. We decided a Segway adventure would be a blast and now that he's 12 years old he was old enough to ride one. Not only did he learn it within seconds he made it look so effortless. We had such a good time riding downtown and learning the history of the area that we signed up for the Navy Pier tour the next day. We were lucky enough to have Eric as our tourguide both days and I have to say we thoroughly enjoyed his knowledge and the time he spent with us to make our tour feel special. We have been telling everyone about this tour and already plan to go back next year. Maybe with a few more people after all our stories, pictures, & video that we have shared. I would recommend either tour to anyone but feel the one downtown is better for larger groups while the one from the Navy Pier north would probably be best kept to a few people. Mostly due to the sidewalks and streets you have to cross plus it's not as easy to get close enough to hear about the area in some of the narrow sections. My son & I have decided we would at least do the same tours again next year but if they have more we might do those as well. Thanks Eric!

Damian our tour guide was wonderful!

I decided to take my elderly parents never thinking that it would be difficult for them as they are in great shape. My mom fell three times! I felt like a horrible daughter but each time she got right back up and was determined to master it and enjoy herself in spite of everything. Damian was so terrific. He rushed right to her aide and never once made her feel bad nor did he make too big of a deal out of it, which was exactly what my mom wanted. He was very kind yet professional and make the whole experience much better. My dad absolutely loved it and would go again. Thanks so much!

Jay was very knowledgeable, friendly, patient and he obviously enjoys his work. I believe that my two fellow tour participants would enthusiastically join me in stating that Jay was largely responsible for making our first Segway tour most enjoyable and memorable. Sincerely yours Howard (Howie) Harrington New York, NY

Fun way to learn about Chicago-North Gold Coast
Mon, Jul 25, 11   10:00 AM amyogi Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
Family's, parents with a 21 and 17 year old, 1st visit to Chicago from Seattle. Was an absolute fun way to see and learn about Chicago. It was a nice morning and so being outdoors was great. With the Segway you get to go everywhere that you could if you were to walk but covering a lot more ground. We had a wonderful tour guide, Eric, and he made it interesting, gave us history lessons of Chicago and opportunities for pictures. If you have never been on a Segway it is such a fun way to see the city. A little on the pricey side.

GREAT FUN, GREAT GUIDE, GREAT MACHINES!!
Thu, Jul 21, 11   10:00 AM Scottiehardy Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
Our guide, Ryan, was wonderful, knowledgable, patient and entertaining. The Segway is truly an amazing machine. Our group ranged in age from 50-75, and it was physically easy for all of us...balance was a concern, but that concern disappeared immediately once he got us on the machines. WE TOLD EVERYONE WE TALKED WITH THE REST OF THE TRIP THAT THIS WAS A MUST DO THING. Chicago is a perfect city for the Segway tours...there is something to actually see, but it is not too crowded to get around. Can't praise it highly enough.

Our guide (Eric) was enthusiasm, polite and energique. We had a great time and we felt safe on the Segway. It's a good way to visite the Museums area. Our group age was 17-37 and everybody had a great experience. We are from Québec and we have already tell ours friends to go in Chicago and try the Segway Experience.

My 16-year old daughter and I had a blast! It was a very hot day in the city...not a great day for walking. Taking the Segway Tour allowed us to roam around the lakeshore area for a few hours seeing things we would've never gotten to by foot. Riding the segway was a blast! The tour guide was sweet and friendly; she made the whole experience very comfortable. I would absolutely go again.

The best and friendliest segway tour around.
Tue, Jul 19, 11   10:00 AM jeffstrout Male 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
The tour was fantastic. They guys took their time taught us the basic and gave us a time to get control of the segway. My son is 12 and we travel with my business, We've been looking for a tour that lets a 12 year old drive one. This was a great one to start on. I think every one in our group felt like they got a lot of personal time with the guides and were knowledgeable on Chicago and its architecture.

Enjoyable trip despite the heat
Sun, Jul 17, 11   1:30 PM ropers Female 60-69 Local Individual
In spite of heat warnings, the breeze from the lake and movement of the segway provided enough relief from the heat. (You exert almost no effort! Easy!) We covered a lot of ground and saw some beautiful sights around the museum campus. Seeing how that area is laid out, I'll feel more comfortable walking around it in the future. I also appreciated the historical narrative along the way.
