| That's what everyone shouted as we glided through our tour! We booked a surprise "Birthday" tour for my husband (and attached signs to our backs that read 'Wish Ron a Happy Birthday"...and everyone did!) We had a perfect day. The Segways were actually very easy to handle (once we got our instruction) and we enjoyed every minute of it. Our tour guide was Ed and he was terrific! He was great at the instruction and fun and informative on the tour. He also watched out for our safety and even though we had one minor casualty we felt very safe. We booked the Navy Pier tour and I would recommend it highly. We plan on going back. | ||||||

Too crowed or too slow

| I would've expected the route to be detoured while the Taste of Chicago was going on. Instead we went directly through the crowd and that wasn't fun at all. We had a couple of incidents due to the crowd (stumbling off Segway, etc). I suppose that may be why our Segways were set at such a slow speed. I've been on several tours in other states and we were always able to gradually increase the speed. When we finally got into open space, it was frustrating to only be able to go 6 miles an hour. The tour was ok, but I wouldn't do it again. | ||||||

| We booked a tour on the morning of the 4th of July thinking the Segway tour would be a good way to get an overview of the city. It was but much more. It ended up being one of the highlights of our 5 day trip to Chicago. Beautiful city with very informative dialogue from the tour guide. We highly recommend the Segway Experience Segway tour. | ||||||

| My wife and me and our son and daughter-in-law signed up to take the tour together, even though I felt it was a little expensive and was worried that my wife might find it difficult. I was wrong on both counts! We had a great time and with our guide's help everyone quickly learned how to ride. My recommendation is "just do it!' | ||||||

| Segaway is an experience on its own. It is hard to compare it to a scooter or alike. It is a chariot with 5 invisible gyroscopic horses but better because after an hour of driving it feels like it is a part of your own body... Surprisingly, the tour was very interesting and informative. Our tour guide Andrew was very knowledgeable and attentive. A lot of fun for your money. I'll do it again. | ||||||

| I thought the Segway tour was great. I enjoyed learning to ride and found it easy. The instructor was patient and helpful. The tour itself did not provide as much information as I would have liked. A scheduled break for a beverage or rest rooms would have been nice. Overall, it was a fun way to spend a few hours on the lakefront of Chicago. | ||||||

| Anyone who wants to see Chicago's lake shore should take an opportuntiy to try this 2 hur tour. You start at Navy Pier and follow the lake shore up to Lincoln Park. On the way back we traveled through Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhoods with a view of the classic grey stone homes along Astor Dr. I have lived in Chicago my entire life and this was just a fantastic tour with a knowledgable guide. We brought along soem friends visiting from Germany and this was a real high light of their trip and just a lot of fun. | ||||||

| We did this tour with 3 of our children, and though we were nervous at first, it was easy to get comfortable with the Segway. Our tour guide was helpful and enthusiatic. The weather was good, so we had a lot fun riding around the park and seeing the museums. I wish we could have gone even further! | ||||||

| Great way to spend my 50th birthday! Really fun! Great for those either from the Chicago area or for out-of-towners. Our guide (Laura) was very knowledgable, fun and friendly, and patient as I was learning how to operate the Segway-- plus she sure knows how to handle her machine like second nature. Our guide also was very good at leading a group of newbies around-- even with the extra number of "tourists" because of the Taste of Chicago going on. | ||||||

| The main attraction of the tour was to ride the segway, and the experience did not disappoint. The segway is easy to ride and lots of fun. In addition, the tour was informative and showed me great views of the city. You get multiple benefits in this tour. You get the experience of riding a segway and you also receive a tour of part of Chicago. | ||||||

| This was a really fun experience. Just a word of caution though. You really need to have a fairly good sense of balance and not be intimidated by doing something physical. Being tense isn't good for this activity. You need to relax and shift your weight very subtly. Once you get your Segway legs, it's a real blast. A great way to see the sights of Chicago! | ||||||

| I took my wife and nieces on the Park Glide Tour on a Sunday afternoon, and everyone had a great time. You get comfortable driving the Segways very fast after your training. They don't start the tour until all the riders get enough practice driving them. We had two girls age 14-16 who at first were a little nervous, but quickly got the hang of it. The views of the Chicago skyline and lakefront are spectacular. It's a very memorable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone. | ||||||

| I flew into town from CA and surprised my best friend with a weekend adventure in Chicago. The massages were fine but the best part was the Segway Tour. Our guide was a hoot and the people in the group were up for fun and everyone was encouraging to each other. Thanks for a great time and your commitment to safety while still having a blast!
