| My wife and I enjoyed the Segway experience. Once acclimated (it took around 15-minutes to get comfortable on the Segway) we got to tour parts of Grant Park that we typically don't see. It would have been nice to take a few scheduled breaks from being on the Segway, you got sore after a few hours on the unit. The tour was rich on the history of Chicago, but light on the architecture. For a pure architectural tour, we like the river boat tour better. But the Segway made this tour unique, so we'd gladly do this again. | ||||||

| We had a great time on our Segway Experience Tour. It was a great way to find out about what Chicago has to offer for parks and museums. Our guide Adam was very friendly and patient, and gave us valuable and interesting information. I will (and already have) recommend the Segway Experience Tours to anyone I know who is planning a visit to Chicago. | ||||||

| I really enjoyed this tour and am so glad that I did it. My tour guide, Tim, was excellent and extremly friendlly and knowledgable. I would recommend this tour to anyone who travels to Chicago! | ||||||

| June and the other individuals who handled the "Segway" tour and training were great. They were very helpful and enthusiastic. The actual Architectural Foundation volunteer who was our main guide -- Joyce was not good. I have participated in 3 other architectural tours in the city and all the doucents were fantastic. Joyce was more interested in talking about the picnic tables located by the Planetarium not being there the week before or the inconvienence of contruction of Buckingham Fountain than providing actual information about the sites. I found here to be somewhat inconsiderate to the other folks (walkers, runners, bikers, etc) along the path -- informing them they needed to get out of our way. Overall I found the tour to be great but for those folks who were not from Chicago I'm not sure they received a quality "architectural" tour that is truly available and are unbeatable. | ||||||

| The Zerve staff was friendly and efficient and the docent from the Chicago Architecture Foundation made the experience interesting. I grew up in Chicago, but she had lots of little stories I had never heard before. And the Segway's were a blast. | ||||||

| We (a retired couple) were hosting a young couple from Spain. It's sometimes hard to find an activity which appeals to both age groups and which can accommodate a language barrier.. The Segway tour was perfect. It helped that we had given them an auto tour of the Chicago several days before, so they knew where they were and what they were seeing. Having lived in the Chicago area for many years, we knew and had already given our visitors many of the "stories" which our tour guide would have related. Our tour guide understood that ours was not the type of group to receive too much dialog. I think as a result, we got to see some extra nooks and grannies of the lakefront which we had not seen on previous tours. All in all, a well spent two hours! | ||||||

| We recently went on a Segway tour in St. Louis and it was spectacular! With that being said, my expectations of the Chicago tour were very high. this didn't happen. June, who was our guide, had only being working for the Segway Co for two weeks so she wasn't that familiar with the chicago area and she really didn't know how to fill the two hours. I was very disappointed and the price of your tour was not cheap. I am planning on doing a Segway in Denver, Co so I will have that one to compare with also. | ||||||

| I have had Segway tours in Paris, Washington and Montreal (although Montreal is very restrictive as to where you can go with a Segway). The experience should not be missed in any city where Segways are available. It is a very efficient and very fun way to see parts of a city. This particular tour was not as good as it could have been because the guide was not as knowledgeable as he should have been; however, that is true of almost all tours. The great thing about a Segway tour is that lack of expertise is not fatal to enjoyment of the event, because the Segway itself provides a great experience. | ||||||

| My husband took 16 year old son and 4 friends for his birthday and they had a fantastic time. LOVED handling the Segways and being downtown. They were less interested in some of the historical facts but my husband enjoyed that. Our whole family has done the DT Chicago tour and recommended it to lots of people who also had a ton of fun. | ||||||
