Segway Experience of Chicago

Great experience, lots of fun, very safe

We went on this tour in early April. The docent from the Architecture Foundation did not show up. The Segway folks provided the Segways and a leader, but there was no description of buildings or of the park system. We enjoyed the ride thru Grant Park but it was not the tour we had expected.

We were a group of five sisters on a 50th birthday trip. Not only did Segway Chicago change our tour time to accomodate us - our tour guide Anthony was friendly, knowledgeable, a great teacher, and made us feel comfortable and confident on our Segways. We never felt rushed. I have recommended Segway Experience to a number of my friends. We really enjoyed the experience and your city in particular.

I have done this Segway Tour several times - both with family and business associates and clients. All love it and have subsequently either returned on their own or have made plans to return on their own - taking either their families, friends, associates, etc. It's a lot of fun. Having done both the summer and winter tours, for first timers I would definitely recommend the summer tours. I love the experience and will do it again.

Loved the machine. Simply lean and move. Covered a lot of ground. Got a good feel for the downtown parks and lakeside. Personable guide and good equipment (the jumpsuits were a lifesaver in the cold Nov. wind). Highly recommended. Worth it.

We showed up in a rain storm and Omar took me and my husband out for the full two hours. We refused any chance to take shelter because we were having such a great time. The freezing rain off lake Michigan was a challenge - just keeping our eyes open, but the two hour glide around Grant Park and all the landmarks of Michigan Avenue were the best tour I have ever taken in my life. I wouldn't have changed a thing. It was spectacular! We will do it again, and every year we possibly can. Grant Park was the perfect place. The fall colors and the sculptural trees were unforgettable. We learned interesting things from Omar, who never lacked for enthusiasm, information and conversation. He was an unforgettable guide - and off to class at the end of the tour. What a guy. I hope he had some dry clothes... we did.

We had a great time on this tour. The guide was well informed and careful to make sure we all enjoyed the experience. We've taken Segway tours before, it's a great way to become acquainted with a city, and this was one of the best we've been on.

We had a wonderful experience riding on our Segways with Omar as our guide. Can't wait to try the red key on our visit next year!

I was on a business trip to Chicago and wanted to do some things while here. My business partner and I went on the Segway tour and had a great time. We learned how to ride quickly, safely, and had the best time. We were getting all the looks from the other tourists. Many pictures taken of us, while riding. Would definitely do this again, in fact had it not been night time, we might have done it again right then. The guide was great as well...very informative, but not overbearing. good time all around.

My friend and I really enjoyed the tour with Nate! We were using the Segways quickly and had a terrific tour around the Lakeside parks and museums. Truly a great way to enjoy an afternoon in Chicago. I highly recommend it!

Very enjoyable and much easier than we had thought, but slightly dissapointed that we finished 15 minutes early.

Even though the October morning was cold by the lake, my wife and I had a great time. We would never have seen the things we did without this tour. Our guide made everything fun and easy. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

The Segway tour was great fun. My 16 year old daughter and I had a terrific time cruising around Chicago. The laid-back guide made the experience easy and enjoyable. It only takes about 10 minutes to get comfortable riding a Segway. We highly recommend this unique experience!
