Segway Experience of Chicago

My husband and I and our (mostly grown) children did this tour during our week long stay in Chicago. We all loved it! We especially loved our guides: Ryan, Damian and Jonathan. They were so much fun, not too cheesy, lots of energy, and very entertaining. They were very patient when teaching the whole group how to ride, and kept us out of trouble while still allowing us to explore on the Segways. In addition, they were all pretty knowledgeable about the sites we visited. Lots and lots of fun!!! Do it!

My family includes 2 teenage boys who had been begging to try a Segway. On a recent "staycation", over memorial day weekend, we booked a Sun morning tour. We were part of a 25 person tour. Our guides Sara, Jonathan, and Ryan were great. They took the time to ensure everyone was comfortable on the Segway before we took off. They all made sure to memorize the names of each person in the group and throughout the tour made it a point to check in with each participant and ask them how they were doing as well as where they were from, etc. They truly made me feel comfortable in trying something outside my normal comfort zone. With 3 guides we were truly able to go at our own pace. When we paused to let the group catch up, they made sure to stop in an area where we could enjoy just moving around on the Segway. Througout the tour they shared interesting historic/tourist information. It was a fun way to get around the lakefront and see various sites. It was a great activity that the whole family truly enjoyed. I would definitely recommend it.

This was the highlight of our trip to Chicago! At first, I thought I would be too uncoordinated to master the Segway, but after a little instruction, I felt confident and we were on our way! Our tour guides had wonderful, in-command, but friendly personalities. They were able to keep their eye on everyone and notice when someone needed a little more instruction. The information they offered about the history of Chicago was informative and interesting. After seeing Chicago and the sights on the Segway tour, Chicago is one of my favorite cities and I hope to visit every year. I also plan to take a Segway tour with this group every year on my visit!

My family of 6, ages 12 - 50, had a great time. Segways were easy to learn to use, and the views of the city were terrific. Our guides, Eric and Damien, were enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about the city sites we visited. What a fun activity, and a highlight of our Chicago visit. Highly recommend this!

Our tour guide Jonathon was friendly and helpful. The downtown Chicago area is beautiful and Jonathon provided just the right amount of history. The segways were easy to get accustom to and had no problems riding for over 2 hrs although legs and lower back will feel tired after awhile. You see so much more than if you were trying to walk all this. Wife and I and the other couple with us all enjoyed very much and would recommend Segway Experience of Chicago!

Took my family on the tour and had a blast. My parents are 67 and 62 and they had a great time as well. Damien was a really fun guide. Overall awesome time.

Our guide Ed was a great instructor and a very informative guide. Easy to learn to operate and began enjoying the experience to the fullest within minutes. The Chicago shoreline was fantastic by Segway ! It's a must do to put on your Bucket list!

The guides were wonderful!! They were funny, informative and very entertaining. We saw parts of Chicago that i never knew existed!!! We are planning to do another tour this summer!! I highly recommend it!

The only 3 hours it rained was during our tour, but you would have never known. We had so much fun zipping around on our segways, learning cool things about Chicago from our tour guide, Ryan, all the while getting drenched. Ryan was a great sport and really wanted to ensure we had a good time. I'd highly recommend this to anyone living in or just visiting Chicago. What a blast!!!!

Eric was careful with attention to all in our party regarding training. He has a friendly down to earth charm and his trivia facts were awesome!

My daughter, 12, and I had a fantastic time on this tour. Not only was riding the Segway fun and exciting but the tour guides; Jonathan, Ryan and Eric were knowledgeable and friendly. We were nervous about learning how to use the Segway but we didn't need to be. The instructions were clear and easy to understand and the guides made sure each and every one of us was comfortable handling the Segway before we toured. We are looking forward to coming back and taking another tour.

The tour was well organized. Our tour guides were both terrific. I have a 15 year old son who enjoyed the experience, too. The seqway way training quick and easy. The Chicago Park Glide Tour covers alot of ground and the segway is the ideal way to go! I highly recommend the tour. In fact, on our next trip to Chicago we plan to take another seqway tour.
