Segway Experience of Chicago

We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone. The guides took their time to make sure we were comfortable with the equipment an made the whole experience fun.

We had a great experience. Our tour guide was excellent. The only thing I would change is that people should be grouped by age. There were two old ladies in our group and I feel they slowed and shortened our tour.

We took my nephew who was in town. He is 13 and had a blast. Of course the older folks did as well.

We had our 14 year old son with us and wanted to do something fun and different. He just loved the segway. He didn't want the tour to end and asked if we could do it again the following day. We had a wonderful instructor and we all knew how to control the segway in 5-10 minutes. Recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see Chicago in a fun way.

This tour was very fun and informative. The segways are easy to learn how to ride and although we were nervous at first, by the end of the tour we were doing figure eights and not ready to get off. The only thing we would have different was to do this tour at the beginning of the trip, because it gives you an overview of the city and lets you see things that you would want to see closer up later. Oh and other key advice, wear comfortable shoes with some support, we both rode in sandals but wished we had been in tennis shoes.

Our guide was very informative and safety conconscious. Had a great time. I would suggest wearing a pair of sturdy shoes since you are standing for quite a while without actually moving your feet. Would defintely recommend this, it was a great time, can cover a lot of ground in very little time. My husband has trouble walking and keeping up so this was a perfect activity for him.

Riding a segway is a great way to see the city of Chicago and learn interesting facts along the way. Our guide was knowledgeable, and learning to maneuver the segway is easy!

The safety movie freaked me....but after we were on the segway for a bit, I felt more comfortable. Of course, there is nothing more beautiful than the Chicago lake front. Combine the view with the ride and you have a great memory of windy city!

I loved our Navy Pier tour. My husband and I took my son for his 19th birthday and we all enjoyed the tour. We got the hang of the Segway pretty quickly! I can't think of a more beautiful place to use it! Alex our guide was great! I heartily recommend it. Katie

My daughter and I couldn't have had more fun on her 39th birthday! Our group consisted of her, me and a group of six men. Alex (the tour guide) was very supportive in our 30 min training. We didn't leave until all of us were comfortable on the segways. It was great fun. The tour was informative (though that's not why I took it). On a beautiful lake front day in Chicago, this is the best way to see it. I plan to take the architectural tour before the summer ends.

I love the area (Grant Park and the Museum Campus) but because the Segway was new to me and somewhat challenging, it was hard for me to concentrate on what the docent was saying. Plus with thousands of people in for Lollapolousa in Grant Park, it was difficult to get around at times. I'm sure with more experience on the Segway, I'd feel more comfortable but the first time was a little scary and nerve-wracking.

My son is 12 and showing him Chicago via a Segway was perfect.....Our tour guide Mike was fabulous, fun, and knowledgable about Chicago......We absolutely loved our tour through the parks....small group of 6, 7 including Mike. The whole staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this tour to everyone. Thanks so much,

If the equipment had all been working correctly, this would have been a great trip. The segway is fun to ride, Michael the guide was very fun and informative, but they did not have enough functioning equipment. Two members of the group had to stay back because they ran out of Segways that worked. Plus, toward the end of our ride, another of the Segways failed. The guide gave his to me and he had to walk that one back home. I believe they had overbooked their available equipment and our party had to sacrifice. If you choose to rent there, be sure they don't have a large party booked ahead of you.

I took my teenage nieces to Chicago for a special 'secret journey'.. What a great time we had .Mike ,our guide , was great and helpful in learning the ropes with the segway. The route was beautiful , enjoyable and not too difficult. Will take the rest of the family on this adventure . Although it is a litte pricey, it is worth the money....
