The Original New Orleans Movie Tour

If you enjoy movies then this is the tour for you. Not only is it neat to see where things were filmed around New Orleans, but our guide was so good. He knew so much about the movie industry as well as New Orleans history. It was fun and informative. Will definitely go on this tour again when I get back to NOLA!

Jonathan was a great tour guide! He made the tour so much fun, and gave a lot of background information. It was great how he'd try to drive the van during the film clips so that we were following the same site line as the camera.

See the filming sites and some very informative star trivia throughout the area of New Orleans! All presented by your guide which is right from inside the movie business. This tour offers special and little known filming sites, movie locations, behind the scenes and secret set information, which are all presented in a friendly and casual setting. This tour will be well worth your time and your dollars!

The tour was enjoyable and entertaining. Jonathan's infectious enthusiasm for the movies, personal comments about his own experiences with film and TV, and his sense of humor quickly engaged the group. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, but the great video clips played in the van at appropriate moments in our tour made me want to see all the movies I have missed. I definitely would recommend it to anyone who has any interest in movies.

Great tour! Jonathan (the owner and guide) is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about movies. With a tricked out van (seats 8-10), great sound system, video screens at every seat, and about 300 movie clips to choose from, he crafts a fun look at NOLA through the movies. If you are a movie buff, you will really enjoy this tour to remind you of the many movie scenes (both old and new) and see them up close and personal. The popcorn and ice water are also a nice touch.

The tour guide knows his stuff, as he's been an extra on multiple episodes of USA's Common Law. Having the movie clips to show how a location was used really helps to provide perspective. The bottled water and popcorn included on the tour were a nice extra.

I've done the movie tour in Washington, D.C., and although the Washington tour was very well done, I enjoyed the New Orleans tour more. The key is the guide. John in New Orleans was knowledgable, energetic, and very motivated to insure everyone had a great time. The site selections were great, and the background on the featured movies was awesome. I highly recommend this tour!

Great excursion! Very knowledgeable on films, tv shows, etc. filmed in area and the politics that go along. Definitely a "do" while in NOLA.

We had a great time on this tour. Jonathon was very knowledgable and enthusiastic. We had our 10,, 12, and 14 year old daughters with us and they all loved it too. We learned lots about the movies filmed in New Orleans and the movie business in general too. Well worth it!

Our entire family enjoyed this tour immensely! Johnathan was a wealth of information and inside tips from the movie and television industry in New Orleans...not to mention incredibly personable. The movie snips provided an interactive perspective that really brought the tour to life. He took us throughout many different areas of town in the most comfortable, air conditioned way possible. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves movies or is simply tired of the same old walking tours. It is well worth the time and money.
