...not just for movie fans!

I must point out that this tour is not just for movie fans. It is a great city tour, as well. I will describe the tour concept; but not the content, as it varies and may include your "must see" locations upon request. Each tour has it's unique aspects that even include interesting input and anecdotes from fellow tourists. We watched video clips on the monitors located in the seat headrests while visiting the actual filming locations. We also snacked on complimentary popcorn (what else) and bottled water as we toured. Our tour included visiting locations in the Garden District, the Warehouse District and the Central Business District. We also visited the French Quarter, The Treme, and famed St. Louis Cemetery #1 and Lafayette Cemetery. In each location we viewed movie clips and then the actual sites in each of these areas. We experienced over 30 different locations while be filled in on "behind-the-scene" details, as well as city history. We viewed houses of movie stars and writiers, as well. Jonathan discussed the art of film making and everything that goes into creating movie magic. On completion of the tour we received a listing of the tour locations we had visited. Hey! I even won a prize in the in-van trivia contest! This was a great tour, It was relaxing, interesting, well-paced and fun. Jonathan made the tour come alive with his insight and comments. If you take any tour in NOLA - make it this one!

I love the movies so this tour is one I was excited to find. Our guide was extremely knowledgable about movies, actors and locations in New Orleans. Not only did he show us movie locations, he pointed out many historical sites, actor homes and interesting aspects of the areas through which we toured.

Was in New Orleans for the French Quarter Fest. Since the movie tour wasn't running during the Fest, we stayed an extra day so we could go on the movie tour, and it was well worth it! Our guide, Jonathan was great; very knowledgeable about all movies and friendly. He had some great stories to tell! Definitely recommend this tour for everyone.

If you are a movie buff who likes to combine that interest with learning more about New Orleans, this is a great tour to take. Jonathan, who developed the tour has put together clips of upwards of 30 movies set in various New Orleans neighborhoods. In the comfort of the small van, you tour the town and watch the video clips in precisely the location where filming took place. Along the route, Jonathan pointed out other places of interest and shared historical and cultural facts. Jonathan's passion and knowledge of films, actors and the mechanics of movie making were readily apparent along with his passion for the city. He was enthusiastic, attentive and made the 2 hours fly by.

We loved our New Orleans Movie Tour! We saw many different areas of New Orleans (French Quarter, Garden district, cemetaries, and many historic landmarks) with movie clips on a screen right in front of your seat that were filmed at each spot EXACTLY! Our tour director was very knowledgeable about the movies and New Orleans itself and provided interesting tidbits as we rode along. We saw many people walking on other tours and we were all very happy to be inside and coo in our van on such a hot and muggy day! Overall it was a fun and entertaining tour and we would higly recommend it!! A great way to see LOTS of New Orleans!
