Lifetime friends (in NOLA to celebrate a special birthday) added the Original New Orleans Movie Tour to our agenda of dining, sightseeing, and museum and art gallery going, with a great outcome. The enthusiastic tour company owner/movie-making semi-pro/entrepreneur wheeled our 10-person van into view of a wide range of New Orleans-made movies, from Streetcar Named Desire to Benjamin Button to Pelican Brief. Tour explores many of New Orleans' classic corners and landmark sites with an onboard video camera set for each passenger's viewing entertainment as the "movie scavenger hunt" begins. Popcorn along the way and the tour giver's skill at maneuvering safely amid traffic while providing entertaining commentary made this an experience to be enjoyed. Two thumbs up. |

The tour exceeded my expectations. This was due to owner/guide Jonathon's depth of knowledge of the movie industry, as well as of the films themselves. This man is definitely a movie fan, and this passion is what elevates his tour above the ordinary. Film clips from movies were previewed when arriving at a particular scene, followed by an explanation of the scene and interesting facts about the film and actors. The "More" in my title refers to the New Orleans history lessons which we received as a bonus while driving through different parts of town.
I found the tour to be interesting, informative, and enjoyable |

Nice mix of old, newer and in the works movies. Guide was extremely well versed not only on the movies shot in New Orleans but the movie industry as a whole. |

The tour leader was great and the tour was fun, but we would prefer limiting it to movies that take place in New Orleans, not just movies filmed in New Orleans. We thought there were too many car crash movies. What about "Pretty Baby" and "Jezebel"? Loved the popcorn. |

I really enjoyed the format of this tour. It was interesting to actually visit and stop in the same spots where video clips of the movies were being shown at the same time on the van. Jonathan was a great tour guide. |

We took the tour on St Patrick's Day. As a result it was difficult to get to certain sites that the Tour Guide wanted to go. However, his knowledge of the area and things happening in New Orleans allowed him to alter his tour and still provide a very informational and interesting experience.
Our group loved this tour and would recommend it to anyone who had an interest in movies and the New Orleans locale. |

We covered a lot of ground in 2 hours. Very informative and interesting. It's pretty amazing to watch Jonathan drive, carry on a conversations with the people in the van and roll movie clips, all at the same time. Talk about multi-tasking!!! Thanks for an amazing 'get your feet wet' tour of New Orleans. |

Saw the tour mentioned in Trip Advisor and after reading the reviews decided to book. Book online and save money. We paided $41 pp including $2 processing fee. We met in the French Quarter and proceed to learn bits of historical facts of New Orleans and a lot about how the movies are made now and then. We stopped 1/2 way and had a bathroom break and munched on pop corn & water provided by our host. The tour was supposed to be 2 hrs but it was closer to 3 hr by the time we returned back to FQ. Very good information and lot of fun. Will recommend to my friends if they plan to visit New Orleans. |
