The Original New Orleans Movie Tour

My daughter, husband and I had such a great tour. Jonathan is so knowledgeable about movies. It was informative and fun. Highly recommend this tour.

Jonathon is very personal and knowledgable. I was amazed at how many films are filmed in New orleans. Each seat has a screen to show scenes from movies as you are sitting in the van at the location sites. You also see houses that stars such as Brad Pitt and Angela Jolie own. Highly recommend this tour.

What a fun and different way to tour a city! Jonathan, the guide, entertained with stories about New Orleans and movies and tv programs that filmed here. The video screens allowed us to watch scenes that were filmed in the exact spot where we were. Popcorn provided halfway through the tour was the perfect snack.

Jonathan was a great guide...enthusiastic and most competent with his information. We covered a great deal of the city and decades of movie history...well presented.

We've visited New Orleans yearly for decades with a group of friends. Looking for something new to do, our group opted to take this tour. What a great decision! The tour provides a unique lens for viewing the city and, at the same time, provides interesting new insights about various locations. The movie clips were fascinating when the tour bus stopped at the exact same spot where the film camera had been placed. The driver/guide was incredibly knowledgeable about films shot in New Orleans over time and also about current filming in the city. This tour would be worthwhile for visitors of all ages!

Very professionally done wth narration that enhances the total experience instead of trying to evoke laughs and banter. All movie scenes are shown at the spot of actual filming. The two hour tour is perfectly paced with a stretch break in the middle. It is also possible to customize the tour to see your favorite movie shot in New Orleans - even if it is not part of the normal tour. Extra side benefit is the small tour of the Garden District and a look at the homes of some very famous and current movie personalities.

Our guide was very well versed on all the movies shown and about movies in general as he has appeared in several movies. Also, he seemed to now all about New Orleans and which sights to see. Plus, we had popcorn, now how good is that?!

Impressive knowledge coupled with great talk. They obviously love New Orleans, movies, and their customers. They have my Oscar nomination!

What a wonderful way to get a "picture" of New Orleans. Half of our group of six were movie buffs, the other half not. All enjoyed the tour. It was a bit of film, a bit of history, a lot of fun. Would suggest you book it early on - we did and got a great preview of the city. Would hightly recommend it.
