The Original New Orleans Movie Tour

If you enjoy movies take this tour. Our guide was great. Glad we did it!

I really wasn't enthused about taking the tour. The guide greeted me by name and was so genuinely nice and entertaining that it was really fun. He asked questions and got the group of 8 people engaged and we didn't k owneach other. I would highly recommend it. I also learned some interesting economics about te industry and why states offer the tax credit to film makers.

The tour guide was very knowlegable about the movie industry in New Orleans. He was enthusiastic as well as accomodating and made the tour experience more interesting. It would have been great if the tour was a bit longer and included more detailed tours of a few movies. Our group really enjoyed the experience.

Our guide, Jonathan, provided a fascinating and eye-opening introduction to some of the great movies that have been filmed in New Orleans. We also learned about the prominent role New Orleans has played in the movie industry in general.

I was basically tagging along with my husband who wanted to go on the tour while in New Orleans. I wasn't expecting much, but was wonderfully surprised. The monitors in the back of each seat replays the movie scene as the tour stops at them, it is a brillant idea and brings it all alive. Rather then pointing at a balcony and saying a scene from the Elvis movie King Creole was filmed there, which can be boring, you actually get to see the movie clip of the scene. Even if you haven't seen the movie or TV show it is interesting to see the clip while sitting at the place it was filmed. Our driver was wonderful fun, and even without the movie and TV information it is a wonderful tour of the city. I learned a lot about what it takes to make a movie. We recommended the tour to fellow visitors while gushing about how cool it was, and hope they took the trip. I would recommend it to anyone, movie buff or not.

We visit NOLA several times a year and have been wanting to take this tour. We enjoyed it immensely! Jonathan is very knowledgeable about the movies in New Orleans having been an extra in several himself. The van is very comfortable and we even received popcorn during intermission! I highly recommend this tour!

This tour is great! We are both movie fans and this was one of the highlights of our New Orleans trip.

The driver was very knowledgable about the movies, movie sites, and actors of those movies shot in New Orleans, He is entertaining and fun! There are even movie screens on the back of each seat and delicious cheese corn! I would highly recommend to adults or families. It is one of the best tours in New Orleans.
