The NYC Luxury Chocolate Tour

I was greatly looking forward to my tour but an unexpected and unannounced cancellation of trains in and out of Grand Central terminal occurred on the morning of our tour, leaving us no way to get in to the city. We had given the company over an hour's notice of the rare incident and they were not flexible with allowing us to reschedule the tour. I believe this reflects a poor business policy for this occurrence was beyond our control and there was nothing we could do about it. I was extremely disappointed in the way that the NYC Luxury Chocolate Tour handled this unique situation and therefore do not recommend this company to anyone! Beware of unfair and uncaring staff!

My fiancé and I had an amazing time on this tour. Our tour guide knew so much about each chocolate at each place. Her enthusiasm for the chocolate made our experience that much better. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who likes chocolate. I will definitely be going back!

The tour was fun, the guide was great, the chocolate was delicious, but the price was just too high...

seriously stop reading this and dish out the money. It was a ton of fun, and our tour guide was absolutely fantastic. it's a touch expensive, but worth it. Man up. Ready go.

I felt l I was in chocolate heaven. Fun, delicious and informative. Our guide, Lindsay Jean, was very enthusiastic in sharing her knowledge and love of chocolate. Our only regret was that we did not get to see an actual candy factory in active production as it was a holiday. As Lindsay Jean put it , it was "an enjoyable experience in chocolate molecular gastronomy".

This tour was a present from me to a friend who was celebrating a major birthday, and it did not disappoint. We had a terrific couple of hours with our guide Bert and the others on the tour. Bert managed to deliver an amazing amount of information about chocolate, while at the same time answering every question in a relaxed, thouughtful and humorous way. I confess that at the beginning of the tour I thought that getting 2 samples at each shop didn't sound like much. Wrong! These are samples of very rich chocolates and we were in fact given extra samples or tastes of hot chocolate at several shops. Our samples turned out to be so filling that we didn't want to eat them all right then. We COULD have, but were very, very happy that we had taken a plastic container to save some for later. I heartily recommend this as a way to appreciate each type of chocolate -- and, I heartily recommend this tour.

This is a great way to spend a few hours in Manhattan, and the quality of chocolate sampled is superb. The only drawback is that with all the official samplings and a few extras thrown in you will be eating the equivalent of sixteen truffles in three hours. Pace yourself and plan on no further food that day, maybe even the next! The tour guide I had was top notch! Ken

the tour guide was great. he really liked his job. the shops could have however sent us on our way with a little ' dogy bag'. it would have cost them hardley anything and would've make a nice impression.

We totally enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide Bert provided us with much knowledge and information about chocolate and the unique shops we visited. His pleasant personality added to our complete chocolate bliss experience! My husband and I would highly recommend this tour. It was interesting, fun and made for a splendid afternoon. Thanks!!
