| This tour was a present from me to a friend who was celebrating a major birthday, and it did not disappoint.
We had a terrific couple of hours with our guide Bert and the others on the tour. Bert managed to deliver an amazing amount of information about chocolate, while at the same time answering every question in a relaxed, thouughtful and humorous way.
I confess that at the beginning of the tour I thought that getting 2 samples at each shop didn't sound like much. Wrong! These are samples of very rich chocolates and we were in fact given extra samples or tastes of hot chocolate at several shops. Our samples turned out to be so filling that we didn't want to eat them all right then. We COULD have, but were very, very happy that we had taken a plastic container to save some for later. I heartily recommend this as a way to appreciate each type of chocolate -- and, I heartily recommend this tour. |

| This is a great way to spend a few hours in Manhattan, and the quality of chocolate sampled is superb. The only drawback is that with all the official samplings and a few extras thrown in you will be eating the equivalent of sixteen truffles in three hours. Pace yourself and plan on no further food that day, maybe even the next! The tour guide I had was top notch!

| the tour guide was great. he really liked his job. the shops could have however sent us on our way with a little ' dogy bag'. it would have cost them hardley anything and would've make a nice impression. |

| Our guide was fun and the chocolate was good, but not sure this was worth the high price tag. The tour advertises that it is through the upper east side, but you never get higher than 59th. Also, I thought I would be shown hidden gems in NY, but 2 of the shops were in major department stores. |

| Both me and my mom are chocolate fanatics, and when coming upon this tour, we immediately signed up. Needless to say, the chocolates are absolutely out-of-this-world! Not only did we have a great time tasting the chocolates (with the tv crew filming us), our wonderful guide gave us a detailed history of chocolates, along with interesting facts that we never knew.
High recommended! |

| I do not like chocolate and did this tour to please an out of town friend. My lucky friend got to eat 4 pieces of all the chocolate offered and he was in heaven.
However, the best part of the tour was the enthusiastic presentation of the young man leading the tour. He was so informative and showed extreme patience for the silliest of questions. Although I am personally not interested in anything regarding chocolate, his presentation at each store made me listen...and who knows, I might have learned something! |

| It was pouring rain the day of our tour and our guide showed up right on time. We were the only 2 people on our tour so we got the private show. We were so lucky! Everyone connected with the tour including those in the chocolate shops were kind and very understanding when we asked all sorts of questions.
I fell in love with chocolates from one of the places. It totally replaced my former #1 pick which was also on the tour. If I hadn't taken this tour I would never have found the place.
I highly recommend this tour. You will learn a lot about chocolate, taste some fabulous chocoate and come home with way too much chocolate. |

| The 2.5 hour walking tour was very special. The guide was informative and entertaining, I learned a lot about chocolate in general and chocolate making in NYC.
You get to choose 2 chocolates to taste at 5 different shops, we also tasted some exquisite hot chocolate.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

| Through the years we have been to NY many times, taking advantage of several different types of tours available. A chocolate tour sounded very different and interesting so we decided to give it a try. We were very warmly greeted by our tour guide who was not only gracious but very knowledgeable about chocolate. He took the time to describe the way chocolate is created and how this differs in individual regions of the world depending on where the beans are produced. He also provided us with information on the unique ways that each chocolatier developed and created his own style for his creations. Each chocolate shop offered each participant the ability to taste two pieces of chocolate and were very accommodating to having us in their shop. I would highly recommend this tour to chocolate lovers everywhere. |
