Had a great time on this tour, there was only 3 of us, plus Carmen the guide. We went to 5 chocolate shops and had a couple of samples in each. May not sound much but I had more than enough by the end. It gave me a chance to taste chocolates and flavours that I wouldn't have normally found by myself. The taste of the chocolate and flavours were exquisite and not something I have come across before (and I go looking for them). As a side bonus, we had a quick tour of SoHo where most of the shops were so gave me a chance to see what was around that neighborhood. |

Carmen was wonderful! Passionate, knowledgable and fun. I took my 15 year old niece for her birthday and we had a blast! Would recommend highly! |

They called me the day of my tour, 2hrs before the actual start time, to tell me it was cancelled. They won't give me a refund and I need to go through the actually company to reschedule. I would not recommend this tour. |

The tour was exactly as billed: 2 pieces of chocolate at each of 5 places, but no "surprises" along the way. The tour was actually only 1.5 hours. We weren't really given a lot of time to browse, though a few places were so small that it wasn't possible to do so. Our guide was nice and knowledgeable. Overall though, I have to say this tour is not worth $70. Maybe $50. I estimate we tasted about $25-30 worth of chocolate. But an extra $40 on top of that for a guide who didn't really offer anything besides what I could read in a decent guide book? Not worth it. I guess I just expected more for the price. |

We booked this tour for our mothers' birthdays- my sister and i and our cousin and her mom! It was the perfect afternoon walk through town! The tour guide was very knowledgeable about each shop, its owner and how each of his/her dreams came to be! Not only were the tastings decadent, the walking tour around the soho shops and store designs were like eye candy for the soul and made for a mini-cultured afternoon. |

We enjoyed the overall experience. The all the stops had very good chocolates. And while the guide was very nice, I felt there could have been more information on each store in terms of the philosophies behind each shop and details about the various preparations and differences between the product. |

The chocolate walking tour of SOHO was wonderful! Our tour guide is a graduate of the CIA and was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He had everything planned out in advance including calling ahead to each shop we visited to make sure they reserved samples of the specific chocolates he wanted us to experience. We tasted chocolate combinations we didn't know existed. I highly recommend this tour. |

My sister and I bought this as a present for our mom, who is a chocoholic! we all live far apart so it was nice to do something we thought would be special when we were able to be together. we ended up being the only ones on the tour, so it was like our own private lesson with Mehdi, our guide. A chocolatier himself, he provided an abundance of knowledge and insight into each of the five shops to which we went. He hand picked each chocolate we tasted, and showed us a variety of styles in choosing the different shops, which made the tour a lot of fun. He even gave us a map so we could see where we were going, and to have for future reference :)
if you have a chocoholic that deserves a special treat, this is a great option. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but it was worth it. I'm a bit biased because we had such a great guide, but I can guarantee a good time if Mehdi is your host. |

I surprised my boyfriend with this tour and he could not have been more excited when he realized we were going to be eating chocolates all over SoHo. We visited 5 unique chocolatiers, tried their signature pieces and got to choose another piece to try. We had four different kinds of hot chocolate. The tour guide was fun and very knowledgeable and the shops were beautiful. It was a wonderful afternoon and completely worth the price. I will definitely be going back to these chocolatiers and probably be giving this experience as a gift to our friends in the future. |
