Our tour guide was very energetic and knowledgable about chocolate. It was fun checking out these quaint and almost "under the radar" hot spots. She kept the mood light and her eclectic background made for stimulating conversation. Highly recommended!

Tour guide had great stories about each chocolate shop. Chocolate choices were anything from plain dark or milk chocolate to chili infused dark chocolate. I enjoyed experimenting with new flavors--you'll be suprised what tastes good in chocolate.

It was a very nice trip, learning about the chocolate. It's good to have fine chocolate with different flavors. It feels fresh and awsome! And the guide, did a great job, she was lively and she obviously enjoys doing this.

It was such a great experience. It was perfect day for an outing for me and my 2 best friends. We absolutely love chocolate so we really enjoyed ourselves. My girlfriend thought is was the perfect birthday gift. We haven't stopped talking about it and we would highly recommend it. Carmen, I just want to say keep doing what you are doing. It is very evident that you have a passion for this. Enjoy the rest of your summer.. - Tasha D.

We can't recommend this tour enough! We found the New Cuisine Tour on-line and since we like to take in culinary events whenever we are visiting somewhere interesting we chose your Chocolate Walking Tour. We've been telling all our friends that it was the highlite of our NY experience! Bert, our guide, was great fun: personable and extremely knowledgable. Though it was very hot over the Memorial Day weekend we were able to zip into one of the many chocolate shops to cool down and sample their wonderful specialties. Bert's idea of providing "cold pak bags" was brilliant as it allowed us to buy gifts for all our friends without worrying about them melting during the tour or before getting them back to our hotel. Our teenage guest also loved this tour so Thank You NYChocoTours for a thoroughly enjoyable introduction to the Chocolate Paved Streets of New York!

| We loved our Chocolate Tour! My daughter works in SoHo and she never would have found these places on her own....it was so interesting on several different levels - mostly on the CHOCOLATE level!
The "insiders" tips on the chocolate were right on and we enjoyed the company, the diversity of the flavors and the chance to really get in and enjoy the subject. Our guide was fun and interesting and he allowed us to pace ourselves, physically and chocolate-wise. Everyone we've told about it has said, "How fun! How interesting!" - and it was.
A true Chocolate-Lover's DREAM! (Even my daughter uttered words I NEVER thought I'd hear fall from her lips at the end of the tour: "I think I'm all chocolate-d out!)
Next trip I'm going to do the OTHER Chocolate Tour! :-) |

Our very pleasant and informed guide took us to four SOHO chocolate shops. She explained the process of creating chocolate and what made each shop's offerings special. With her guidance, we tasted new flavor combinations. We purchased gourmet hot chocolate mixes and exotically flavored chips for baking. We were in chocolate heaven by the end of the tour!

Our adorable guide was extremely knowledgeable not only about the process of making chocolate, but about the history of the chocolatiers we visited. We gained a lot of information and probably a couple of pounds from the samplings!

Our group enjoyed the tour of the Soho chocolate "boutiques." Learning more about chocolate itelf, as well as the "stories" of the various shops we visited was very interesting. Our guide Carmen was knowledgeable and a lot of fun Plus the chocolate was divine!

The New Cuisine Chocolate Tour was a great way to spend a Sunday with family in town. Two hours is the perfect amount of time and there was just enough anecdote peppered with education to make the tour interesting and not at all boring. We made some amazing chocolate discoveries in Soho that will serve as invaluble outlets for gifts -- or just plain chocolate cravings. Carmen is fun and knowlegdeable and I think my family enjoyed her nearly as much as the creme brulee chocolate at Klee.
