We absolutely loved this tour. Our guide was perfect. He was very knowledgeable about chocolate and the business and was very friendly. All the shops were so cute and smelled just lovely. The best part was of course the chocolate. I never knew there could be such variety. I am one who personally hates curry but when it was combined with chocolate it was amazing. We can't wait to try the other tours offered by this group. |

If you like chocolate and want to taste some amazing pieces, go on this tour. The chocolate was phenomenal and each shop was unique. The tour guide was really knowledgeable and it was fun to eat and learn about different types of chocolates (and their health benefits!). I really enjoyed this tour. |

I brought my choco-holic adult Daughter to New York from Wisconsin for her Birthday. We went on the noon traditional tour and the 4 PM SOHO tour. Bert out tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. It was a great contrast to compare the two types of chocolates. The walking pace was appropriate so everyone could keep up. We were informed as to what to expect at each shop. Even though it rained, it was an informative, exciting, fun, and tasty tour. We would go again and recommend you take it if you like chocolate-and who doesn't?!? |

If you love chocolate and you have an adventurous palate, then this is the tour for you. Bert was a fantastic guide and my wife and I picked many chocolate combinations that involved various spices--delightful. These chocolate chefs will make it hard to eat regular chocolates again. I had a dark chocolate buzz by the end of the tour.

Bert was a great tour guide both about chocolate and about New York City. The five shops all had delicious chocolate and we had a wonderful time walking around the Soho area. The walk is not too long if anyone is worried about that but it is very pleasant. Bert gets a 5 star rating and so does the chocolate. |

The tour guide was a lot of fun. He knows how the chocolate is made, how it should taste, how it should be prepared, and he clearly loves it. He knows the neighborhood and all the people. He gave us great recomendations on what to sample. We had so many samples that we could not eat them all. Most we really delicious and many were very interesting combinations not normally associated with chocolate. We love to try new foods. This tour is great for those who love to experiment and for those who just want a lot of great chocolate. My husband and I were on this tour without children, but I think the kids would also have liked it. Thanks for a great tour. |

This is a fabulous tour that should not be missed! Our well informed, personable and wonderfully funny guide, Bert, was the best ever! We stopped at 5 Chocolate shops that each had something different to offer, and he explained each style & flavor in detail to us so we could make informed decisions for our tastings. It was a walking tour that seemed conveniently spread out in Soho so that we got just enough exercise between chocolate binging...I mean tastings. We had such a variety...who knew there was a "green olive" chocolate...and I loved it! We even tasted chocolates that were so beautifully decorated that it seemed a crime to eat them (but we did)...we had others that were filled with liquid Champagne! We will definitely do this again on our next visit...and you should, too! Don't let our ages fool you...we are still young in body & mind. |
