| We enjoyed the New Cuisine tour as much or more than the European Tour a month earlier!! Burt was knowledgable and entertaining, and he made sure we all moved at a pace that worked for our group.
Just like its neighborhood (SoHo), the New Cuisine tour was full of fun, unique, and full of delicious examples of what chocolate should taste like. We loved the close proximity of the stops and the enthusiasm of the chocolatiers we visited.
Way to go Zoom! I can't wait to try your wine&chocolate tour!! |

| Burt (the tour guide) was casual, informative and fun. The walk took us through Soho at a leisurely pace to 5 very different shops. Quite a variety of chocolates and shop styles. Try the white chocolates (esp pistachio) at Kim Lee's shop, they were the best samples on the tour (even if you don't normally like white chocolate-trust me). A great way to spend the afternoon, and just as good as the Uptown tour according to Burt. |

| Burt met us on time and we hit it off from the beginning. His suggestions were great and his knowledge of chocolate, New York and the culinary scene was enjoyed and appreciated. We have recommended the tour to all our friends and hope to take other tours the next time we visit the city. |

| What a lovely tour this was! We got to explore parts of New York not often on the visitor's plan, mainly the part between Little Italy and Soho, and learn some of the history and technique of chocolate making, all the while sampling some of finest (if not the finest) chocolates of New York.
We loved the fact that all 5 of the shops were so different from each other, and in the smaller shops got to meet the owners as well. There were so many options of flavors to choose from.
I would recommend bringing a small refrigerated bag with you if you go in hot weather, as you may want to bring some fo teh samples home for later tasting, and you certainly may wish to buy from the shops as you go...but either way, bring your appetite for chocolate as there will be more than enough of that for the day!
By the way, our guide was bert, and he was absolutely delightful. |

| Bert was quite knowledgable and fun to spend the afternoon with. I was part of a group of 6 ladies that had travelled from Ontario, Canada for a week in New York and this was definitely worth putting on our list to do. You get two chocolates in each shop plus hot chocolate samples in a couple of the shops. They were all delicious. If you are wanting to try the iced hot chocolate you have to do the tour before October, so instead I bought some to bring home and make myself. I would recommend this tour to everyone it was fun and informative. |

| Is very worth while participating in this tour. Bert was the tour guide and was very outgoing, pleasant and interacted with each person on the tour. Very glad that we added this to our list of events during our time in NYC. While we were on the tour...people on the street who overheard the commentary were asking how they could sign up & participate. Definately worth your time. |

| An energetic personable guide briefed our group of thirteen on the afternoons planned excursion. Five shoppes were chosen to visit. The chocolate shop stops included vinettes on chocolates lore, production and qualities. Each shop had something unique to offer, including of course two difficult to choose chocolates! We were also treated to chocolate specialty drinks at two of the shoppes. A lovely treat was meeting some of the shoppe owners. They were charming, informative and passionate about their work. Uniquely different is the only way to describe the ambiance and decor of each shoppe.
The walks were short with available stops for water purchase and respite. Our afternoon was enhanced by our guide, Burt, who was genuine, honest, and had planned the time well. |
