| We visit New York often, but have never done a food tour. This was a lot of fun and not stuffy at all, even for non-foodies. For some people it might be a lot of walking - be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, you need both.
Bert was great. He knew a lot, made suggestions, let us take our time and still kept us on schedule and had a wonderful approach and attitude about life. He'll give you recommendations about other tours and tidbits about the city, too, if you ask.
Take advantage of a chance to try flavors you'd never normally order and have fun! |

| As a long time tourist and one who often goes on tours in cities this one takes the cake and it is chocolate. I would caution you to eat some protein before this tour as the chocolate high starts early on this tour. By the second stop I was buzzing. All my friends want to go with me to NYC next time. Why? We can't resist the concept of a chocolate tour with a very knowledgable guide and goodies too delicious to describe. My only regret-I didn't buy a thing. I was way too busy enjoying myself. I will be back and I will be doing this again. Do I reommend this-Absolutely positively YES!!!!! |

| Everyone was warm and friendly and the choclates were devine. We had many liberal samples. Burt was great. He helped me around the icy streets and even helped mr get a subway ticket. |

| I highly recommend the NYC New Cuisine Chocolate Tour. I found the tour surfing the web for something different to do in the big apple and have no regrets for booking it. Our tour was a very small intimate group including myself, friend and the tour guide Bert. I found Bert to be extremely knowledgeable, personable & very friendly. We walked leisurely to 5 lovely shops in the SoHo area. At each Chocolatier we sampled chocolates, learned about chocolate, chatted and relaxed. I didn't really know what to expect from the tour and I enjoyed myself and would go back again perhaps in the winter when I can bring stuff back without worrying if it the confections would melt. |

| Had a good time and enjoyed our guide very much. We were informed that a cheescake stop was recently added to the tour. Great idea, but I wish it was later in the tour. We weren't "chocolated" out yet when we got there ( 2nd stop), but I liked the idea of mixing things up! My only other comment was that the tour ended pretty far away from the first shop ( was thinking we'd end up where we started) and ended up having to walk all the way back to the first shop where we left our car. Would be a good idea to set expectations that it's not an insignificant trip back to the first shop and a cab might be a good idea if you didn't get there by train or subway originally. We had a good time and would recommend it to others. |

| Fun to be with a small group and to taste all the chocolates. Was nice to hear about the background of the shops.
Perfect for a girl's Mother's Day weekend for me, my 7 year old daughter and my mother! |

| I brought my choco-holic adult Daughter to New York from Wisconsin for her Birthday. We went on the noon traditional tour and the 4 PM SOHO tour. Bert out tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. It was a great contrast to compare the two types of chocolates. The walking pace was appropriate so everyone could keep up. We were informed as to what to expect at each shop. Even though it rained, it was an informative, exciting, fun, and tasty tour. We would go again and recommend you take it if you like chocolate-and who doesn't?!? |

| The group was small and the guide absolutely lovely. The guide had readjusted the venues which we would visit based on the date on which we were going and it worked out perfectly. NO ONE KNOWS MORE ABOUT CHOCOLATE THAN HE DID! it was just so absolutely pleasant that I would recommend this to anyone who has an interest in chocolate. Not only were we provided with tasty chocolate, but also with a bit of history to each venue we visited along with explanations regarding the individual chocolates.
I was floored when our guide was able to recommend to us in which order we should eat our chocolate for full taste effect along with which way around(!!) to eat it to get the right taste.
this was just absolutely enjoyable. |

| All the places were very good and unique and the tour guide was very knowledgeable, informative (answered lots of questions), and the area to walk around in was good to move around in after eating chocolate.
The only other thing to add is to inform the public they will be outside for most of the tour. We had a rather cold day to walk around in.
Otherwise a very good tour of chocolate. |
