Great tour, but needed more wine!
Fri, Nov 7  3:30 PM jessita18 Unspecified Unspecified Unspecified Unspecified
The tour was really great! However I would have enjoyed learning about more wine and chocolate pairings. There was only one occasion where we had wine and chocolate pairings, and I would have enjoyed a more in-depth lesson on multiple pairings.

OUR TOUR GUIDE WAS NICE AND INFORMATIONAL, BUT IT WAS DOUBLE THE PRICE OF OUR OTHER FOOD TOURS THAT WERE BETTER.

Excellent Tour

Our guide Bert was very down to earth and very easy to talk to. It was like we had known him forever. On top of his knowledge of chocolate, Bert was also able to tell us alot about the different areas in the city and give recommendations of other activities or places to see. All around a wonderful tour and a great alternative to the other types of tourist activities in the city. The tour was unique and we expecially loved the chocolate factory. We were greeted by the chocolatier who was friendly, very informative and attentive. We were exposed to chocolate we might have not tried otherwise and also had a chance to meet the owner of the factory!

my friend and i recently went on the union square chocolate tour. bert, our guide, was fun and personable. it felt like it wasn't so much a tour with a guide than some friends walking around nyc. the chocolate was delicious and so were the other pastries we were able to try. we had a great time

A Great Way to Explore New Places

I really enjoyed the balance of chocolate and non-chocolate items since you can get worn out from so much sweet deliciousness! Tour was fun, social, great guide, nice places and amazing food. Highly recommend this to anyone who lives in another neighborhood. I'll certainly be back to some of the locations when I visit in the future.

How to see the real New York.
Fri, Aug 22  3:30 PM BillyMee Male 50-59 International Tourist(s) Family Without Children
We have been on two New York Cultures Tours and they have both been fantastic. Last year we did the Food and Culture Tour with Berry. This year we did the Wine and Chocolate Culture tour with Burt. As I have said ,both were great, Burt and Berry are excellent guilds. We have recommended these tours to our friends who have all a great and informative time on the tours. When we plan our next visit to nyc a New York Tour with yourselves is a must. Kind regards.

REALLY enjoyed our tour guide, who gave us just enough background info and LOVED the wine and chocolate pairings!! I had both chocolates and wines that I probably would not have chosen on my own, but now have learned enough to be dangerous when I go out!!! GREAT time and worth it!!!

Enjoyable afternoon with chocolate and wine
Fri, Jul 11  3:30 PM JudithKessel Female 60-69 Local Family With Children
Two 60 year olds, one 40 year old and an eight year old. The tour leader was very nice and gave us many chocolate facts. Our grandson tried everything and was given extra chocolate instead of the wine. We visited five places, including a chocoate factory where we ate a number of chocolates and had each one explained. We all had a fun afternoon and didn't need dinner, except for our grandson who ate some pizza and wanted chicken soup after the pizza and chocolate!

Great time!

I loved the tour, we got to taste a lot more chocolate than I anticipated, all you can eat at the first one. It was a good distance and the tour guide, Bert, was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. The only drawbacks were there wasn't enough tasting samples at the chocolate studio and one of the pastry shops...one piece seemed like kind of a rip off. Also, we didn't drink much wine, only two glasses...so maybe I'd do just the regular chocolate tours. All in all though, I loved it and my mother throughly enjoyed it. It was Mother's Day gift for her. However, when I told her the price she seemed to think it wasn't worth the money...so I don't know. I loved it though, so two enthusiastic thumbs up.

Great Tour Despite the Rain
Fri, May 16  3:30 PM annlane Female 30-39 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
The tour was wonderful, even in the rain! Loved the pairing of wine and chocolate. This is the second tour I've been on with this company. Both times we had Bert as our tour guide. He is excellent. He offers wonderful tidbits about the city between stops. Would highly recommend this one & the luxury chocolate tour. Can't wait to do the New Cuisine tour too.
