| This was a fun tour.
My sister and I wanted to do something fun and different in NYC and we love chocolate so this was perfect.
The first stop we paired 2 pieces of chocolate with 2 different wines. Great start.
Next we stopped at a shop and had a choice of 4 pieces of chocolate.
We stopped at city bakery and were served a huge chocoate chip cookie and some frozen hot chocolate. yum.
We stopped at another shop and were given a little bag of 4 chocolates. This shop had samples of some of their cakes too.
Last stop we had 2 pairings of chocolate with its matching liquor.
Bert was a genuinely nice tour guide and had lots of information to share.
Be prepared to walk. My sister and I love walking so it was a plus for us considering how much we were eating. We started at 31st street and ended at around 4th.
Some other reviews talked about how there was too much chocolate but if you save the packaged chocolates for later, it's perfect. I also liked how it wasn't all chocolate pieces and the cookie and chocolate drink was a welcome surprise. |

| I really enjoyed the balance of chocolate and non-chocolate items since you can get worn out from so much sweet deliciousness! Tour was fun, social, great guide, nice places and amazing food. Highly recommend this to anyone who lives in another neighborhood. I'll certainly be back to some of the locations when I visit in the future. |

| Overall a well coordinated tour by our guide Burt - who was charming, informative, and very apologetic when Zerve gave us the incorrect location to meet. (Mistakes happen but more should have been done to correct the mistake - for example calling the cell phone numbers customers provided.) The tour provided a balance of excellent chocolate to taste, paired with a good wine, and interesting businesses to visit.
I particularly liked the bit of neighbood history Bert provided while strolling some lovely East Side streets. All and all a lovely afternoon. |

| My friend and I played hooky from work to do this. Neither one of us can be described as a "chocoholic", but it looked very interesting and different, so what the heck? Bert was an excellent host, very informative and friendly, as well as down to earth and attentive.
Every place we went to was lovely. City Bakery was an okay stop, I understand it was to rest and chill out, but it was a bit icky upstairs. Delish cookie and hot chocolate though.I would have rather spent more time at Ayza...Wow that place is terrific!!
I will say I found the most interesting stop to be Vere. Not only was the chocolate scrumptious, but the ladies there so wonderful and accomdating and knowledgeable.
I have already recommended Vere to several people in my office, and a couple of co workers and I are going to go to Ayza next week.
Really, a terrific tour and a terrific host! |

| Four stops of different chocolates from a manufacturer to a great cup of hot chocolate. The manufacturer was top notch. She spent an incredible amount of time with us answering some pretty good questions. We left with a better understanding of why premium chocolate is soooo good for you.
Highly recommend this tour. |

| Our guide Bert was very down to earth and very easy to talk to. It was like we had known him forever. On top of his knowledge of chocolate, Bert was also able to tell us alot about the different areas in the city and give recommendations of other activities or places to see.
All around a wonderful tour and a great alternative to the other types of tourist activities in the city. The tour was unique and we expecially loved the chocolate factory. We were greeted by the chocolatier who was friendly, very informative and attentive. We were exposed to chocolate we might have not tried otherwise and also had a chance to meet the owner of the factory! |

| The gentleman we had guiding us was fan-dan-tastic! I can't say enough good things about him. It was a miserable, rainy day, but we couldn't have had a better time. He shared insights about the city of my birth that I had never known, and was incredibly knowlegeable about chocolate. It was a delightful afternoon! Thanks! |

| The tour was small, so it was very intimate. Our guide was great! Very personable and knowledgeable! He gave us inside tips about chocolate as well as informational and fun tidbits about Manhattan. I highly recommend it and will sign up for another one soon! |

| Spring and chocolate in New York. It doesn't get better than this. Our host was as hospitable as he was knowledgable. We tasted a (very) generous amount of chocolate in a variety of venues, a number of which we would have never discovered on our own. I particularly enjoyed that fact that, if we wished, we could substitute a pastry for chocolate at some venues. Just don't plan on eating dinner any time soon after this tour. |
