The chocolate was great

The chocolates were not just great but fantastic and the people in some of the shops not particularly informative, but friendly. The guide seemed rushed, and could have provided more information and background. If the weather hadn't been just about perfect for a December afternoon, it could have been pretty boring.

Very intersting tour with interesting shops. Information was quite enough. A good selection of different chocolate shops. May were interested in more tasting . I would recommend a better meeting place. Saks is to crowdy.

Needs more information

The chocolates were yummy but the information was very skimpy. Needs to be much more lively. The tour guide was a nice man but just not like the other tour guides who have been more informative and entertaining ! This tour was very dry and felt incomplete though the chocolate shops were interesting and had some great products.

We had fun since we wanted to be on the tour but the guide was not great- she did not provide info on the history of chocolate - and overview to differences of the chocolates - she was enthousiastic but not much more than that - it was not worth the $70 per person!!

Fun Tour and Informative

Lindsey, our Tour Guide, made it a great tour. We learned a lot about chocoloate and had some delicious chocolates at some of the places. It was definitely unique, we now have some great places to take any vacationing friend to NYC and a new appreciation for chocolate we haven't had before. Our group definitely recommends the tour.

If you are a true chocolate lover you will absolutely love this tour-It treats you to gourmet chocolates from various countries and gives you the opportunity to taste the fine quality of the products. The shop keepers were very pleasant and every shop offers you a generous sample beautifully presented. The walk is just enough to burn some calories from the tastings and make room for the next. Bring a bottle of water and you are good to go!

A girlfriend and I had booked two spots on a group tour. We got a telephone call and e-mail the morning of a tour letting us know that our tour had been cancelled. The company was very apologetic and instead gave us a private tour the next day which was our only free day in New York City. LOVED the tour.

Well-Planned, Enjoyable Tour!

My mom and I really enjoyed the NYC Luxury Chocolate Tour! The tour was extremely well planned in terms of the route, pace and schedule. Early in the tour we walked by a food cart where we were able to buy a bottle of water for $1 (a bargain in NYC as compared to $5 at our hotel), and later in the tour, at the 3rd and 5th chocolate shops, there were rest breaks where we were able to sit down, rest our feet and enjoy our chocolate. Our tour guide Brooke was very knowledgeable, considerate and a pleasure to talk with. In each chocolate shop, we received at least two samples and all were scrumptious! Overall, I'd recommend this tour to other chocolate lovers visiting NYC.
