| Burt is very personable and knowledgeable about all things chocolate. He also handles a small group of people well and makes sure that questions are answered. He conveys his expertise with enthusiasm! I tried all sorts of infused chocolates that were exquisite and have become a true dark chocolate fanatic. We plan to take the Soho chocolate tour next time we're in NYC. | ||||||

| Bret was informative about chocolate. It was a relaxing stroll through SOHO stopping in to various chocolatiers to taste their drinks and candy. WOW! It doesnt get much better than that. We learned about some of the owners, how chocolate is made and more about NYC too. The other people on the tour were locals so it was equally fun to meet them and learn about living in the city. I recommend this tour and the tour guide. There was so much chocolate i had to save a piece to eat later! | ||||||

| This was such a great experience. The tour guide (Burt) was very knowledgeable of the topic and was so very in tune with each of the our interests and needs. Burt made sure we all had a good time as well as that we learned from the experience as well. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves chocolates! You will learn a lot about chocolate AND get the chance to try some of the world's best chocolates. Never would I have had the chance to try these chocolates had I tried to find them on my own. I will say, though, that there was/is one draw back to having gone on this tour: Hersey just doesn't do it for me anymore. I am now a chocolate snob! Such a wonderful experience! Thanks Burt! | ||||||

| first, apologies for the very long delay in writing; this does not at all reflect ANY negative feelings about the tour. I am a born-and-bred New York who now lives in Israel and joined the tour on a recent visit to NY. The Friday tour I joined had about 6 people, as I recall, all women. The guide (can't recall his name now, apologies) was wonderful - very friendly, patient, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and most important - a true chocoholic. Even tho I eat kosher, I found the data I received (and the chocolatiers we visited) sufficiently informative to know which items I could taste and which not - and I was able to enjoy samples in every store, so didn't feel 'left out' at all! The tour was one of the most fun parts of my visit to NY and even tho I lived there all my life till I moved to Israel, this introduced me to a fun and delicious part of NY I never would've been able to learn about or visit in such a coordinated, informative and delicious way! The price seemed a bit steep at first, but given the (generously) large number of samples we enjoy, and their retail cost, it really wasn't that painful an investment at all. Highly recommended! | ||||||

| I realize time is a contraint in these types of tours but it would have been nice to experience some of the more unique stores in Soho as part of this experience. Bert did a great job for us and provided great knowledge and insight. | ||||||

| Our leader, Bert, made the tour most enjoyable; he was very knowledgeable & personable. He also gave us his own personal opinions along with the info for each stop. I bought this tour as a surprise birthday gift for my friend; we are both chocoholics. She had no clue why we were meeting at Saks, but was elated when we met the group to begin our tour. We were able to sample two pieces at each of our five stops. An extra added treat was our second stop at "Le Maison Du Chocolat" where we also sampled some sorbet. We had a nice mixture of people in our group and had many laughs & a good time. I feel that Bert made our tour very special! | ||||||

| We loved our Chocolate Tour! My daughter works in SoHo and she never would have found these places on her own....it was so interesting on several different levels - mostly on the CHOCOLATE level! The "insiders" tips on the chocolate were right on and we enjoyed the company, the diversity of the flavors and the chance to really get in and enjoy the subject. Our guide was fun and interesting and he allowed us to pace ourselves, physically and chocolate-wise. Everyone we've told about it has said, "How fun! How interesting!" - and it was. A true Chocolate-Lover's DREAM! (Even my daughter uttered words I NEVER thought I'd hear fall from her lips at the end of the tour: "I think I'm all chocolate-d out!) Next trip I'm going to do the OTHER Chocolate Tour! :-) | ||||||

| Our group enjoyed the tour of the Soho chocolate "boutiques." Learning more about chocolate itelf, as well as the "stories" of the various shops we visited was very interesting. Our guide Carmen was knowledgeable and a lot of fun Plus the chocolate was divine! | ||||||

| Our guide, Burt, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and really knew his chocolate, recommending his favorites as well as describing the choices that were available. All of the shops we visited greeted us cordially and we were treated to not only wonderful chocolate to sample, but lots of information about how their wonderful products are made. For lovers of chocolate this is a must. | ||||||

| Loved learning about chocolates, and about the high quality artisan chocolatiers here in New York. Now I know where to order great gifts, and where to find chocolates of the type I'd only had in France or Belgium before. I would enjoy taking future visitors on this tour again. Our guide Carmen was excellent . | ||||||

| This was a wonderful tour! Our guide, Bert, was very knowledgeable, articulate and infectiously enthusiastic. The samples provided by each chocolatier were delicious, artistic, and/or creative -- and they were all so passionate about their offerings. Thanks for an unusually worthwhile experience! | ||||||
