| I went to the Luxury Tour and the New Cuisine Tour. Yes I am a choco-olic. They were different and both de-li-cious. We where lucky to have Bert as our guide for both of them. He is passionate, funny and he knows chocolate very well. We already know how chocolate was discovered , so he concentrated on what it tastes and the sensation it procures. What a pleasant way to discover New-York. We learn a lot, even if we have great "cholatiers" in Montreal. | ||||||

| There were eight of that did the tour together and we all totally enjoyed ourselves. The chocolates were wonderful and we certainly had enough to taste. There was enough time given to wander around the stores and purchase anything that you might want. Our tour guide was excellent and answered our questions and gave us lots of information regarding chocolates. Our tour guide also mentioned that you are thinking of doing a wine and dessert tour which is something that we all thought would be fun to do too. The only problem that we encountered was that the meeting place was not correct on our papers. All 15 people that went on the tour had the wrong information. In the future it would be better to make sure that the proper meeting place in correct. Thank you very much. We enjoyed it totally. | ||||||

| This was a birthday surprise from my husband who is well aware that I am a serious chocoholic. It was a perfect way to celebrate, with a little exercise in between the tastings. Although we know quite a bit about good chocolate, we learned more and truly enjoyed all the tastings. I would recommend this tour for anyone who loves chocolate and/or interesting sweets. The length was just right, and the variety of shops we visited provided an insight into a section of Manhattan that we usually do not frequent. | ||||||

| We enjoyed visiting the specialty chocolate shops (we probably would not have gone to otherwise). Burt, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating.. Although Burt made suggestions at each shop, the choice of 2 selections was our own. That was my favorite part of the tour - each person was able to choose their own favorite flavors instead of being forced to sample another person's choices. | ||||||

| What a fabulous and tasty tour! I have already recommended it to many people, not only for the tastings but also for the information given to us by a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. And in planning my future days in NYC, I'll be sure to make a stop at any one of the wonderful chocolate shops we visited! | ||||||

| Burt is an exceptional, enthusiastic, funny and extremely knowledgeable tour guide. He is intent on making the tour fun for everyone. He greets everyone warmly and treats people with the utmost respect. He has a great rapport with all the chocolate vendors who greet everyone on the tour enthusiastically and provide the best service, no matter how busy the shop is. I highly recommend the tour. It was definitely a five star experience. | ||||||

| We had a fantastic time on the chocolate tour. Bert is a great tour guide. He is gracious and very knowledgeable. He made sure everyone knew what was happening next. The chocolate shops were welcoming and happy to see us. What a great way to spend an afternoon in the city! | ||||||

| An energetic personable guide briefed our group of thirteen on the afternoons planned excursion. Five shoppes were chosen to visit. The chocolate shop stops included vinettes on chocolates lore, production and qualities. Each shop had something unique to offer, including of course two difficult to choose chocolates! We were also treated to chocolate specialty drinks at two of the shoppes. A lovely treat was meeting some of the shoppe owners. They were charming, informative and passionate about their work. Uniquely different is the only way to describe the ambiance and decor of each shoppe. The walks were short with available stops for water purchase and respite. Our afternoon was enhanced by our guide, Burt, who was genuine, honest, and had planned the time well. | ||||||

| Is very worth while participating in this tour. Bert was the tour guide and was very outgoing, pleasant and interacted with each person on the tour. Very glad that we added this to our list of events during our time in NYC. While we were on the tour...people on the street who overheard the commentary were asking how they could sign up & participate. Definately worth your time. | ||||||

| Bert was quite knowledgable and fun to spend the afternoon with. I was part of a group of 6 ladies that had travelled from Ontario, Canada for a week in New York and this was definitely worth putting on our list to do. You get two chocolates in each shop plus hot chocolate samples in a couple of the shops. They were all delicious. If you are wanting to try the iced hot chocolate you have to do the tour before October, so instead I bought some to bring home and make myself. I would recommend this tour to everyone it was fun and informative. | ||||||

| What a lovely tour this was! We got to explore parts of New York not often on the visitor's plan, mainly the part between Little Italy and Soho, and learn some of the history and technique of chocolate making, all the while sampling some of finest (if not the finest) chocolates of New York. We loved the fact that all 5 of the shops were so different from each other, and in the smaller shops got to meet the owners as well. There were so many options of flavors to choose from. I would recommend bringing a small refrigerated bag with you if you go in hot weather, as you may want to bring some fo teh samples home for later tasting, and you certainly may wish to buy from the shops as you go...but either way, bring your appetite for chocolate as there will be more than enough of that for the day! By the way, our guide was bert, and he was absolutely delightful. | ||||||

| Burt met us on time and we hit it off from the beginning. His suggestions were great and his knowledge of chocolate, New York and the culinary scene was enjoyed and appreciated. We have recommended the tour to all our friends and hope to take other tours the next time we visit the city. | ||||||

| The guide was excellent!! The tour average. It is expensive and the chocolates sampled are good but not the worlds best in my opinion!! It's only my opinion after all. Did not feel well received in some of the stores which is unfortunate as I paid for the priviledge of visiting their store. | ||||||
