Such fun!

What a terrific way to spend an afternoon in NYC. Bert, our guide was great, friendly, knowledgeable and down to earth. Favorite spots were Neuhaus, Charbonnel, and La Maison. Appreciated the extra touches some made in preparing for our arrival, showed terrific customer service. We learned so much about the process of chocolate making from the ground up. We most liked learning about the differences in mass versus private production. We now a have a whole new library of places to visit for a special treat. We highly recommend this tour for something different. I even recommend this for all gentleman younger and older as a date idea. Trust me, women love chocolate and this is a completely original idea... you will make big points! Mary Lu Katonah, NY

This was not exactly what I had in mind. My fault ... the leader was excellent, enthusiastic, and can be recommended to anyone. My husband and I did not feel compatible with the group .... perhaps another day we would have enjoyed it more.

This tour was a present from me to a friend who was celebrating a major birthday, and it did not disappoint. We had a terrific couple of hours with our guide Bert and the others on the tour. Bert managed to deliver an amazing amount of information about chocolate, while at the same time answering every question in a relaxed, thouughtful and humorous way. I confess that at the beginning of the tour I thought that getting 2 samples at each shop didn't sound like much. Wrong! These are samples of very rich chocolates and we were in fact given extra samples or tastes of hot chocolate at several shops. Our samples turned out to be so filling that we didn't want to eat them all right then. We COULD have, but were very, very happy that we had taken a plastic container to save some for later. I heartily recommend this as a way to appreciate each type of chocolate -- and, I heartily recommend this tour.

A group of friends and I did the New Cuisine chocolate tour for my roommate's bachelorette party, and we had a fantastic time! Bert, our tour guide, was personable and full of great information about the chocolate shops we visited and the whole chocolate industry. The shops had an interesting variety of pieces, incorporating many flavors not typically found in chocolate. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys chocolate and wants to try something new.

This was a great way to taste wonderful chocolate and see the sights of Soho. Burt was a wonderful tour guide and we learned so much about chocolate and the area we were touring. He was very fun, personable and able to answer any questions about the city. This is a great way to explore NYC in a non traditional way. I highly recommend this tour. Prepare yourself for some mouth watering chocolate!!!

Carmen was great, very helpful and nice. Be prepared to be indulgent and spoiled! My mom and I loved every minute of it. Be sure you use the bathrooms at Saks before the tour because there are no bathrooms on the tour. La Masion du Chocolat has the best chocolate. Try the caramel and mint ganache, amazing!

My husband treated me to a weekend in NY and this luxury chocolate tour. I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised! We were joined by two other couples and loved that the group was small. It kept things intimate. Our tour guide, Bert ,was knowledgeable and friendly. He gets an A++ for customer service and his ability to connect with us all and guide us through the city. I was impressed with the history he shared of each place we visited as well as the 'little known' facts and bits of trivia he shared on the chocolate industry. This guy knows his stuff! Bert has a great report with each shoppe we were in and we were treated well by everyone! Best of all... the chocolate. It was divine! I have never tasted such wonderful chocolate. How can I go back to Nestle or Hershey after this? Bert, fine chocolate and NYC have ruined me for life! :) Thank you all for a wonderful experience. I have already recommended you to my friends!

My friends and I attended the NYC luxury chocolate tour on Dec. 22nd. Our tour guy Burt was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It was evident that he enjoys what he does and was able to share that enthusiasm with us. He had some good recommendations and took us to some unique places. Loved Richart and Piere Marcolino. It was a pretty cold day but the walk was not bad at all, even with lots of tourists around. Great idea to recommend taking a bottle of water with you. I couldn't eat any more chocolate by the last stop but I did learn about new stores that I could refer friends to and which I would definitely visit again in the future. Definitely a tour for serious chocolate lovers only.

bert combines history and fun facts with all the charm and consideration you would expect from a southern gentleman. our tour never stinted on time in a shop, we had all the time we wanted to spend at each stop . each stop was educational and fun and i will never look at milk chocolate in the same way. i can actually taste the nuances! would i do it again? you bet i would!

Bret was informative about chocolate. It was a relaxing stroll through SOHO stopping in to various chocolatiers to taste their drinks and candy. WOW! It doesnt get much better than that. We learned about some of the owners, how chocolate is made and more about NYC too. The other people on the tour were locals so it was equally fun to meet them and learn about living in the city. I recommend this tour and the tour guide. There was so much chocolate i had to save a piece to eat later!

I took my teenage daughter and her friends for the chocolate tour downtown and we had a great time, walking through the village and discovering the small chocolate shops that I have passed by but never paid much attention to. Our tour guide was informative and friendly
