Bert was GREAT !!
Fri, Jun 6, 08   12:00 PM SHERIOZFAN Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
We have a whole new perspective on chocolate now. Bert (Burt?) was the guide for myself and my 16-year old daughter. He was knowledgeable, great personality, lots of fun. Interestingly enough, upon our return to California, the very next day, the LA Times had an article on chocolate shops in France - three of them we had visited on the NY tour. Be sure and keep Bert working for you, he's a credit to your company. Thanks

Bert + Fine Chocolate = Perfection!
Sat, May 31, 08   12:00 PM manwarrens Female 30-39 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
My husband treated me to a weekend in NY and this luxury chocolate tour. I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised! We were joined by two other couples and loved that the group was small. It kept things intimate. Our tour guide, Bert ,was knowledgeable and friendly. He gets an A++ for customer service and his ability to connect with us all and guide us through the city. I was impressed with the history he shared of each place we visited as well as the 'little known' facts and bits of trivia he shared on the chocolate industry. This guy knows his stuff! Bert has a great report with each shoppe we were in and we were treated well by everyone! Best of all... the chocolate. It was divine! I have never tasted such wonderful chocolate. How can I go back to Nestle or Hershey after this? Bert, fine chocolate and NYC have ruined me for life! :) Thank you all for a wonderful experience. I have already recommended you to my friends!

We did this to celebrate my husband's birthday and we could not have had a better time! We will definitely be trying some of the other tours offered. Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Thank you so much!

This was such a fun way to spend a day in New York! We enjoyed learning about the wide world of chocolate in such personal way. Our tour guide was very knowlegdeable, personable, and fun. As we walked from store to store he also gave us other great information about the city. We would do a food tour again!!! We highly recommend this tour and we can't wait to do more on our next trip!

Great tour!

It was so much fun - I really recommend the tour to any chocolate addict! Two pieces per store may seem too few at first but the chocolate you taste is so rich that it is just the right amount. The tour guide was great: knowledgeable, fun, enthousiastic and very passionate about chocolate! Thanks for the lovely afternoon!

Simply marvelous in every way! Highly Recommended.

Our group was two adults and two teenagers from the US along with a teenage visitor from Korea. We all loved our guide Burt and the tour. We visited places we wouldn't have known to visit and tried things we wouldn't have known to try. It was fun to learn the stories of how each shop can to be, the philosophy of the owners and how that is reflected in the selection. A great day was had by all. We highly recommend this tour!

Great time!
Fri, May 16, 08   3:30 PM adria3022 Female 20-29 Local Family Without Children
I loved the tour, we got to taste a lot more chocolate than I anticipated, all you can eat at the first one. It was a good distance and the tour guide, Bert, was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. The only drawbacks were there wasn't enough tasting samples at the chocolate studio and one of the pastry shops...one piece seemed like kind of a rip off. Also, we didn't drink much wine, only two glasses...so maybe I'd do just the regular chocolate tours. All in all though, I loved it and my mother throughly enjoyed it. It was Mother's Day gift for her. However, when I told her the price she seemed to think it wasn't worth the money...so I don't know. I loved it though, so two enthusiastic thumbs up.

Great Tour Despite the Rain
Fri, May 16, 08   3:30 PM annlane Female 30-39 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
The tour was wonderful, even in the rain! Loved the pairing of wine and chocolate. This is the second tour I've been on with this company. Both times we had Bert as our tour guide. He is excellent. He offers wonderful tidbits about the city between stops. Would highly recommend this one & the luxury chocolate tour. Can't wait to do the New Cuisine tour too.

I found this tour interesting and informative and maybe somewhat overpriced. Never the less, we all did have a good time.

Sweet delight

We enjoyed this tour. Plenty of sweet treats for our tastes. I feel the price could be a little on the high side, would have preferred to tip the guide more rather than paid as much for the tickets. Would definitely consider the uptown tour for the future.

Both tasty and informative tour
Sat, May 10, 08   12:00 PM afeinberg Male 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
We enjoyed both the chocolate and the guide's extensive knowledge. He was great. It was not too far to walk and there were restroom opportunities. There was adequate time at each stop. I would have brought a bottle of water with me if it was suggested ahead of time.

Tour guide made the day!
Fri, May 9, 08   3:30 PM pohnmacht Female 50-59 Local Family With Children
The gentleman we had guiding us was fan-dan-tastic! I can't say enough good things about him. It was a miserable, rainy day, but we couldn't have had a better time. He shared insights about the city of my birth that I had never known, and was incredibly knowlegeable about chocolate. It was a delightful afternoon! Thanks!

It was pouring rain the day of our tour and our guide showed up right on time. We were the only 2 people on our tour so we got the private show. We were so lucky! Everyone connected with the tour including those in the chocolate shops were kind and very understanding when we asked all sorts of questions. I fell in love with chocolates from one of the places. It totally replaced my former #1 pick which was also on the tour. If I hadn't taken this tour I would never have found the place. I highly recommend this tour. You will learn a lot about chocolate, taste some fabulous chocoate and come home with way too much chocolate.

Fun, Informative, and Simply Delicious!
Sun, May 4, 08   12:30 PM ashleyn2001 Female 20-29 Local Family Without Children
What a great tour! I highly recommend this activity to any chocolate lover. Our tour guide was extrememly informative about the chocolate-making process, and the shops were welcoming, friendly, and beautiful! The samples were unbelievably delicious and the tour guide was very descriptive about the various tastes and how the chocolatiers achieved the specific chocolate. A very fun, well-spent 2 hours in Manhattan's SoHo!
