| The tour guide was a lot of fun. He knows how the chocolate is made, how it should taste, how it should be prepared, and he clearly loves it. He knows the neighborhood and all the people. He gave us great recomendations on what to sample. We had so many samples that we could not eat them all. Most we really delicious and many were very interesting combinations not normally associated with chocolate. We love to try new foods. This tour is great for those who love to experiment and for those who just want a lot of great chocolate. My husband and I were on this tour without children, but I think the kids would also have liked it. Thanks for a great tour. | ||||||

| We loved Burt! He was very knowledgeable and personable. He was easy to listen to and was very patient with the group. We went to 5 terrific places to taste different kinds of chocolate and the experience was surprisingly interesting and marvelously tasty. It was a "throw-your-head-back-and-moan" eating experience. The kids (18 and 15) were also excited. We picked out our chocolate pieces, moved to an open space, counted to 3 and popped the delectable into our mouths together.....This tour is a must-have for adventurous families or groups who are celebrating a fun event (We were there for Daniel's birthday). | ||||||

| What a great way to celebrate my mom's "special" birthday! We learned so much and I will never look, taste or smell chocolate the same way. We had a knowledgeable and patient guide and it was truly great fun! I recommend it highly. | ||||||

| My two kids and I (11 & 15) went on the Luxury Chocolate tour lead by Burt. I expected it to be fun, but the tour exceeded those expectations. It was the "Burt Factor"! Burt was a delight, fun and pleasant but beyond that, he really knows chocolate - EVERYTHING about chocolate, and I thought I knew it all. He also was happy to answer so many other questions I had about visiting the city, and we followed his advice with great result. I will tell everyone that this tour is a MUST on their what to do in NYC list! | ||||||

| Recently, on a very, very, hot Sunday afternoon, my husband and I arrived in Manhattan for a cruise departing the following day. We had never been to Soho so decided we would kill two birds with one stone by taking the Chocolate Tour there instead of uptown and seeing the Soho area. We arrived at the appointed meeting area and were met by Bert, our guide who informed us we were the only two taking the tour that day! Being true chocaholics, a little heat wave would never have stopped us! The tour was amazing, especially given the private tour we were getting! Bert is extremely knowledgeable and equally personable and entertaining! Being that we own a candy and confection shop, we never thought we would learn as much as we did. When we return to the city, we will definately take one of the other chocolate tours! | ||||||

| I found the activity fun and informative. Bert was a great guide you could really feel the enthusiasm he had and made everyone feel very welcome and wanted us all to have a great time. The group was the right size to be able to chat and get to know fellow visitors between shops, we kept moving but did not feel rushed.Great fun! | ||||||

| Our group was two adults and two teenagers from the US along with a teenage visitor from Korea. We all loved our guide Burt and the tour. We visited places we wouldn't have known to visit and tried things we wouldn't have known to try. It was fun to learn the stories of how each shop can to be, the philosophy of the owners and how that is reflected in the selection. A great day was had by all. We highly recommend this tour! | ||||||

| I purchased the tour as a birthday gift for my chocolate loving husband. He's a big fan of the Hershey's kind of chocolate, so I wasn't sure if he was going to like this tour, because it is a higher end kind of chocolate. Well, I shouldn't have worried. He absolutely loved the tour! Our tour guide was Bert, and he really knew his dark chocolate from his milk chocolate. Our group was 3 groups. We were on time, and the other two were a bit tardy. Bert was great calling them to give them updates, so that they could join the tour when we had moved to the next store. Luckily, they got there before we left. The descriptions of the chocolate were spot on, and Bert had very nice recommendations for us. We visited five shops, and had plenty of time for purchases after tasting. If you think you won't get enough chocolate, think again. We got to choose 2 pieces in each shop, and we also got a couple of chocolate drinks, besides. My husband at all of his on the spot, but I had half of mine wrapped to go. If you do that, be careful they don't get crushed in your bag. They are incredibly delicious, but very fragile! My husband is always ready to eat anything chocolate. However, by the end of the day, he said that for the first time in his life, he had eaten enough chocolate for the next two weeks!!! That was a successful tour in my eyes. This was to be a day of chocolate, so we went over to Max Brenner's for an early dinner. Needless to say, we weren't really very hungry. But, Max Brenner's was very disappointing. The food wasn't hot, the food just wasn't very tasty or well prepared, service stunk, and we were very disappointed with them. We should have gone somewhere else to eat, and much later in the day. We didn't have time to visit the M&M's store in Times Square, but it's on our list for next time. So, if you want to have the ultimate chocolate experience, take this tour. It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! | ||||||

| The chocolate, wine and pastry tour was very enjoyable in part due to our wonderful guide, Bert. The shops we visited were very interesting and the chocolate was beautiful to look at. However, I am a basic type of chocolate person and there was little to tempt me, but what I did taste was very good. The pastries were great as was the wine. I cannot stress, however, that this tour is a lot of walking - blocks and blocks and blocks of walking. I know the information said there is walking and wear comfortable shoes, but it was more than I anticipated. I was just glad our day was somewhat of a cool one. The stop at the organic chocolate factory was very interesting as was the owner who graciously told us whatever we wanted to know about how she made her chocolate. I would recommend this to persons who are chocoholics. My friend who went with me is a chocoholic and loved all of it! | ||||||

| The tour was A LOT of walking! Unfortunately we had to do more walking than normal because we were given the incorrect meeting location so we had to walk several blocks to meet our tour guide before the tour even started. The tour guide was very nice and knowledgable. The third stop was my least favorite. I didn't think the chocolate chip cookie was very impressive and the hot chocolate was like thick pudding. We enjoyed all of the other stops. | ||||||

| This was a great way to taste wonderful chocolate and see the sights of Soho. Burt was a wonderful tour guide and we learned so much about chocolate and the area we were touring. He was very fun, personable and able to answer any questions about the city. This is a great way to explore NYC in a non traditional way. I highly recommend this tour. Prepare yourself for some mouth watering chocolate!!! | ||||||

| This tour was a nice small group so you didn't get lost in the crowd. It went to some choc shops i never new existed and they let you try a sample at each store. Very friendly guide. An interesting take on a NY to do list. | ||||||
