| I wasn't sure what to expect when we arrived on the tour but our guide, Burt, quickly put us at ease. He is a fun person & has a passion for chocolate & how it's made. He made the tour fun, interesting and encouraged interaction among the guests on the tour. I also appreciated the fact that even though we were going to some of the priciest chocolate shops in the city, he kept the tone of the tour down to earth and casual. We really enjoyed ourselves and will recommend the tour to our friends. | ||||||

| We had the great Bert as our tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about chocolate and the chocolatiers that we visited. It was refreshing that he provided his opinion but stressed that everyone has their own likes and dislikes and we should try whatever tastes good to us. I highly recommend this tour and will be bringing another group of friends back to do it again! | ||||||

| This tour was soooooooooooo good! Such good chocolate to taste and the tour guide was a lot of fun and super nice. I unfortunately was a little late for the tour and the tour guide, Bert, called my cell phone to tell us where to meet him. He also was going to get us samples from the places we might have missed...thankfully nothing was missed! We even got more than just two samples at some places. It was absolutely delicious! I have been to NYC a bunch of times and probably have past these chocolate shops and never even thought twice about going in them. I will definitely have to stop by them again to try some more chocolate! | ||||||

| Spring and chocolate in New York. It doesn't get better than this. Our host was as hospitable as he was knowledgable. We tasted a (very) generous amount of chocolate in a variety of venues, a number of which we would have never discovered on our own. I particularly enjoyed that fact that, if we wished, we could substitute a pastry for chocolate at some venues. Just don't plan on eating dinner any time soon after this tour. | ||||||

| Our tour guide (Bert) was very informative regarding the different types of chocolate, where they were from and was happy to make suggestions. The choices for tasting sights was well rounded and gave a wide selection of different types of chocolate to try. My group enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it for anyone like us, who Loves Chocolate. | ||||||

| What a great tour! The weather was awesome for late Feb and our tour guide, Burt, was super friendly while he shared some truly interesting facts about chocolate. The only place that was less worth it than the others was D&G where the chocolate was just okay, but I guess it's all about the experience of trying chocolate that costs more per piece than the cab ride back to my hotel! Loved, loved, loved RichArt and the other stops were also amazing. I bought way more chocolate than I ever thought I would. Just a great overall experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for something special and different to do in NYC. Beautiful job, Burt!!! Thanks for so much fun!! | ||||||

| bert is charming, knowledgeable and attentive. i loved it that we were given the chocolate background before the tasting started because after a while chocolate took over my brain. it was fun and delicious. | ||||||

| I wasn't sure what to expect on this tour but it turned out to be a real highlight of my trip. The tour guide was extremely knowledgable about chocolate, but also was down to earth and extremely personable. We visited 5 different chocolate shops over the span of about a 20 block walk (we walked at an extremely leisurely and reasonable pace though so the walk didn't seem bad at all). It was quite interesting learning about the different styles and techniques relating to the differing shops. My wife was ill and unfortunately couldn't make the tour but I was allowed to get her samples (to go) from each shop thanks to the wonderful guide. I can't recommend this tour enough. The next time I'm in town, I'll definitely be doing the other tour (by this company) in Soho. | ||||||

| We really enjoyed this cuisine tour of the Soho area! My son, who we were visiting, also enjoyed the trip. I would recommend that you bring a bottle of water until the co. provides it. It is a good idea to clear the palate in between choc. tasting. But what a "yummy" view of N.Y. | ||||||

| The tour was A LOT of walking! Unfortunately we had to do more walking than normal because we were given the incorrect meeting location so we had to walk several blocks to meet our tour guide before the tour even started. The tour guide was very nice and knowledgable. The third stop was my least favorite. I didn't think the chocolate chip cookie was very impressive and the hot chocolate was like thick pudding. We enjoyed all of the other stops. | ||||||

| I purchased this tour as a present for my Mother's 51st B-Day. I had previously gone on the uptown Luxury tour with my girlfriend, and had very high expectations after having such an enjoyable experience there. To my delight I found that the same tour guide was doing the downtown tour as well, and not only that, the whole group was just my mother and I! It's extremely impressive to me that, despite the small crowd, the tour was not canceled and the tour guide was just as bright and friendly as he had been on the uptown tour (except on that tour there was about 15 people, not just 2!) We had an absolutely fantastic time and really got to discover some of the chocolate treasures surrounding So-Ho. My mother did nothing but rave about what a good time she had afterwards. As a note to others hoping for a possibly smaller group... Sundays, according to our guide is the slowest day. As I previously stated, I've attended tours through this company with larger, and now with very intimate groups, no matter what the size is, you can't miss! | ||||||

| I recently booked the walking chocolate tour as a valentines day gift for my girlfriend. When I first explained to her what we would be doing, she seemed interested, but not overly enthusiastic. As soon as we arrived at the first chocolate stop on the tour, her mood defiantly changed and couldn't stop raving afterwards about how much fun it was. The tour guide in-particular made the experience. He had told us this was his first tour for this company but he performed like an Ace. Giving relevant information, insider tips, and never crossing the line of being excessively informative or annoying. When we went to a chocolate shop that wasn't as willing to speak to the group on their products (and that only happened at one stop by the way, all the other shops were amazingly welcoming) he picked up the slack without missing a beat and gave our group a quick history and recommendations of the chocolate shop. I have family from out of state and I will DEFIANTLY be taking this tour again with them when they come to visit. I can't say enough. Absolutely worth every penny. | ||||||

| My best friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Burt, who was knowledgable, patient, and friendly. The structure of the tour was perfect, with just enough chocolate, and well-timed walking and water breaks. | ||||||
