| Had a lot of fun, probably because, in order, (1) it was an activity of a type we would not normally be exposed to, and (2) it was interesting and informative with respect to its subject matter. As a resident, it would not normally occur to me to take a tour of anything. But there is a distinct and favorable difference between being taken on a tour and exploring something yourself. | ||||||

A real highlight

| I wasn't sure what to expect on this tour but it turned out to be a real highlight of my trip. The tour guide was extremely knowledgable about chocolate, but also was down to earth and extremely personable. We visited 5 different chocolate shops over the span of about a 20 block walk (we walked at an extremely leisurely and reasonable pace though so the walk didn't seem bad at all). It was quite interesting learning about the different styles and techniques relating to the differing shops. My wife was ill and unfortunately couldn't make the tour but I was allowed to get her samples (to go) from each shop thanks to the wonderful guide. I can't recommend this tour enough. The next time I'm in town, I'll definitely be doing the other tour (by this company) in Soho. | ||||||

| We throughly enjoyed this chocolate tour. Burt was extremely informative and very nice. The two hours flew by! Burt answered everyone's questions and provided much fun along the way to the chocolate shops. We looked so forward to this activity and it far exceeded our expectations. We can hardly wait to return to NYC to take the other chocolate tour Burt does. Even if you aren't a fan of chocolate, you need to take the tour to meet Burt, he was so much fun. | ||||||

| The tour was small, so it was very intimate. Our guide was great! Very personable and knowledgeable! He gave us inside tips about chocolate as well as informational and fun tidbits about Manhattan. I highly recommend it and will sign up for another one soon! | ||||||

| I had purchased tickets as a gift for my wife's birthday, & we planned to go on the tour on Friday, November 2nd. Unfortunately, we had a family emergency & had to cancel. We thought we were just going to lose the tickets, but when my wife called to explain that we had to cancel, she was told that we could reschedule. We were very happy to be able to reschedule for Friday November 9th. We had a wonderful time. It turned out that we were the only two on the tour. Bert, our tour guide, was great - he made the tour both interesting, & fun. He was very knowledgable & informative. He has a wonderful personality & is perfectly suited for his position. He even made walking around New York City on a cold & rainy Friday afternoon a great experience. The chocolate shops that we visited were all very nice, & the chocolates were a chocoholic's dream. We would like to take another tour in the future - posibly the chocolate & wine tour. Thank you. Kevin Kittrick | ||||||

| This tour is definitely a chocolate lovers dream! I appreciated the wide range of chocolates and the stories behind many of the chocolatiers. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommend to all...both local and tourists! | ||||||

| Our guide was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. His enthusiasm about the history of the chocolatiers and of chocolate was contagious. I especially liked that he was not a chocolate snob. In other words, he knew what he was about; but he felt that chocolate was to be enjoyed according to invidual taste. Really enjoyed learning about chocolate and loved the samples. Returned to one of the chocolatiers after the tour to buy more! | ||||||

| Burt (the tour guide) was casual, informative and fun. The walk took us through Soho at a leisurely pace to 5 very different shops. Quite a variety of chocolates and shop styles. Try the white chocolates (esp pistachio) at Kim Lee's shop, they were the best samples on the tour (even if you don't normally like white chocolate-trust me). A great way to spend the afternoon, and just as good as the Uptown tour according to Burt. | ||||||

| I attended the Chocolate tour with my 24 year old daughter. We made reservations on line so really was not sure how it was going to turn out. I must say not only were we surprised but it was one of the major highlights of our trip to New York. This was the first time (other than 2 hours 7 years ago) we had an extended trip in New York. Our guide not only told us alot about Chocolate that we never knew he also gave us an asume tour of New York as we went place to place. We still talk about it and I tell all my friends that this is a must do tour when they go to New York. I want to thank you all so very much, it was great. Gary D. Jones | ||||||
