| Bert was a great guide. He shared his knowledge of chocolate, chocolate and wine combinations, and the city chocolate shops. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves chocolate. Bert was fun and we very much enjoyed his company and tour. | ||||||

| First off, being led by our exceptional host, Bert, to 5 chocolate shops where we got to sample and purchase, if we cared to, chocolates from 5 different countries was sublime The manner in which Bert informed the group about the history of the different stores was unique. His delivery , through enthusiasm and lesser known facts about the individual chocolate makers , was fresh and memorable. Bert is sensational. Regardless of the level of chocolate consumer you are, what I found most valuable was being able to contrast and compare the taste of the chocolates from the different countries. Thank you for creating such a tour. | ||||||

| Very fun group leader - knowledgeable insider NYC fun info - great group! Group instantly fun bce tasting chocolate. Nice to walk around NYC and taste gourmet chocolate as you've never tasted before. Comfortable, fun, interesting experience. Can't wait to take my Mother someday - and son too! Anyone would love. | My Mother & I were in NYC for a week as a "Mother's Day" gift to ourselves ! We had been to the City several times over the years & I heard about this tour on TV. After internet search, found the SoHo tour & was so glad we picked that one ! Burt was terrific, it ended up being just the 3 of us -- which was also great ! Kees was my favorite stop, We had no idea tasting chocolate could be so fasinating. Burt did an EXCELLENT job as guide. And we 2 southern belles were so glad we came on a tour right after his "tour from H#%$ " to improve the course of his day !! We had a great time, had some WONDERFUL chocolate & would highly recommend the tour. | ||||||

| Fun to be with a small group and to taste all the chocolates. Was nice to hear about the background of the shops. Perfect for a girl's Mother's Day weekend for me, my 7 year old daughter and my mother! | ||||||

| The tour was excellent. I enjoyed learning about the different types of chocolate and methods of preparing the chocolate from start to finish. Burt was wonderful and personable! He was enthusiasic and knowledgeable. We were fortunate to have a private tour as we were the only group schedule for that particular day. It was a fun event. | ||||||

| My husband surprised me with the NYC Luxury Chocolate Tour and it was wonderful. Our tour guide Bert was fun and extremely knowledgeable about the history of chocolate. The 2.5 hour tour took us to chocolate shops we never would have known about and every shop had a different story. The tasting allowed you to try different types of chocolate from rich dark chocolate to creamy milk chocolate. If you are looking for something unique to do in this great city I highly recommend this tour. | ||||||

| The walking chocolate tour was a great experience. We stopped at 5 shops in 2 hours. Our guide, Bert, was excellent and very knowledgeable about each shop. We learned more about chocolate than we ever knew and the best part was being able to sample pieces from each shop. Each shop is unique in their product. We would never have known these shops existed if we hadn't taken the tour. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for something different to do in NYC. | ||||||

| I wasn't sure what to expect when we arrived on the tour but our guide, Burt, quickly put us at ease. He is a fun person & has a passion for chocolate & how it's made. He made the tour fun, interesting and encouraged interaction among the guests on the tour. I also appreciated the fact that even though we were going to some of the priciest chocolate shops in the city, he kept the tone of the tour down to earth and casual. We really enjoyed ourselves and will recommend the tour to our friends. | ||||||

| My husband, 12-year-old daughter and I very much enjoyed our Luxury Chocolate Tour on a recent visit to Manhattan. Our guide was passionate about the topic of chocolate and he taught us quite a bit in the process of walking to the assorted shops on the tour. Great way to explore the upper East side and feel more knowledgeable at the end! The tastings were great too :) | ||||||

| We drove 4 hours to NY to take this tour - as a surprise for my husband. Our guide was waiting for us at the designated spot and once the entire tour had arrived (15 people) we started out. For a walking tour, the furthest we had to walk from one store to the next was about 7 short blocks, so no one got overly tired. The guide scheduled bathroom stops, and gave us enough time at each location so that we didn't feel rushed. We went to five gourmet chocolate shops where we were able to choose two pieces of chocolate from their entire collection while the guide gave us a little history of the shop and the chocolate making process. There was also plenty of time to buy more chocolates if you wanted (the prices were not outrageous - but they were in line with the fine product). At the end of the tour my husband and I decided to have lunch and our guide was kind enough to point out nearby locations. All in all it was a fun and decadent tour. At first, 10 samples doesn't seem like much, but we were definitely chocolated out by the end and even saved a few for the next day. We look forward to taking more tours with this company and even handed out the brochures the guide gave us to shoppers we met in Bloomingdales who overheard us talking about how much fun we had. | ||||||

| This tour was soooooooooooo good! Such good chocolate to taste and the tour guide was a lot of fun and super nice. I unfortunately was a little late for the tour and the tour guide, Bert, called my cell phone to tell us where to meet him. He also was going to get us samples from the places we might have missed...thankfully nothing was missed! We even got more than just two samples at some places. It was absolutely delicious! I have been to NYC a bunch of times and probably have past these chocolate shops and never even thought twice about going in them. I will definitely have to stop by them again to try some more chocolate! | ||||||

| A friend and I went on this tour when we were visiting from the DC area. We had a great time! Not only was the chocolate fabulous, but the tour was very informational and Burt is fantastic! At first, I was a little hesitant due to the price, but it was a great value for what we had. Each shop had 2 - 3 things for us to try and they were all very welcoming. There was no pressure at any time - to buy, to hurry up, to not ask questions, etc. It was all very relaxed. My friend and I plan on doing the two other chocolate tours now that we've been through this one. | ||||||

| Our tour was quite small, my sister and me, and a mother & daughter duo. We were all entranced by the display in the windows at Jacques Torres, our starting point. We went inside and met Bert, our guide, who was very knowledgable on the subject. Because we were a small group, conversation about the chocolate we were eating was plentiful. Each stop was unique and offered a different take on the art of chocolate. My favorite shop was Kee's. The pace was leisurely and no one had a problem keeping up. I would strongly recommend this tour to others. PS -- We passed a hand pulled candy/sugarcraft store on the route, I think it would be a bonus to your tour if you could add it to the agenda. | ||||||
