| The tour guide was a lot of fun. He knows how the chocolate is made, how it should taste, how it should be prepared, and he clearly loves it. He knows the neighborhood and all the people. He gave us great recomendations on what to sample. We had so many samples that we could not eat them all. Most we really delicious and many were very interesting combinations not normally associated with chocolate. We love to try new foods. This tour is great for those who love to experiment and for those who just want a lot of great chocolate. My husband and I were on this tour without children, but I think the kids would also have liked it. Thanks for a great tour. | ||||||

| Loved walking around SoHo! Loved the shops! LOVED the chocolate. The perfect tour to learn a little, laugh a lot, and have fun. Bert was great and even helped us plan what to see after the tour. | ||||||

| Our guide Bert was very down to earth and very easy to talk to. It was like we had known him forever. On top of his knowledge of chocolate, Bert was also able to tell us alot about the different areas in the city and give recommendations of other activities or places to see. All around a wonderful tour and a great alternative to the other types of tourist activities in the city.The tour was unique and we expecially loved the chocolate factory. We were greeted by the chocolatier who was friendly, very informative and attentive. We were exposed to chocolate we might have not tried otherwise and also had a chance to meet the owner of the factory! | ||||||

| What a great way to celebrate my mom's "special" birthday! We learned so much and I will never look, taste or smell chocolate the same way. We had a knowledgeable and patient guide and it was truly great fun! I recommend it highly. | ||||||

| Bert (the tour guide) was friendly and extremely knowlegable. The tour group was a good size. The chocolate is amazing and I learned a lot! The only down side was that if you take a tour in the warm weather you cannot bring chocolate home as easily. I am already planning my next tour. Don't eat a big lunch before the chocolate tour! | ||||||

| We have been on two New York Cultures Tours and they have both been fantastic. Last year we did the Food and Culture Tour with Berry. This year we did the Wine and Chocolate Culture tour with Burt. As I have said ,both were great, Burt and Berry are excellent guilds. We have recommended these tours to our friends who have all a great and informative time on the tours. When we plan our next visit to nyc a New York Tour with yourselves is a must. Kind regards. | ||||||

| This was a fun tour. Of course the chocolate tasted great and we were encouraged to try unusual tastes. Also, the tour guide was excellent and the tour was leisurely. We learned a lot about how chocolate was made as well as background on how each of the shops got started. The area of the city (SoHo) was also fun to see. Probably best not to do this tour in very hot weather. | ||||||

| Recently, on a very, very, hot Sunday afternoon, my husband and I arrived in Manhattan for a cruise departing the following day. We had never been to Soho so decided we would kill two birds with one stone by taking the Chocolate Tour there instead of uptown and seeing the Soho area. We arrived at the appointed meeting area and were met by Bert, our guide who informed us we were the only two taking the tour that day! Being true chocaholics, a little heat wave would never have stopped us! The tour was amazing, especially given the private tour we were getting! Bert is extremely knowledgeable and equally personable and entertaining! Being that we own a candy and confection shop, we never thought we would learn as much as we did. When we return to the city, we will definately take one of the other chocolate tours! | ||||||

| We took the tour on a very hot day in mid-July 2008. For whatever reason, the other participants (not our party) had cancelled - leaving just the two of us with the guide. It was very professional of them not to cancel the whole tour. This left us to enjoy a "private tour". The tour is nice - there is some walking but the distances are not great. The chocolate shops are high-quality. There are 5 shops, and the tour includes 2 pieces of chocolate at each shop. And that is plenty! Plus, there is the opportunity to purchase... | ||||||

| My sister and I took the luxury chocolate tour yesterday, on a weekend getaway in the city. It was FANTASTIC! Our tour guide, Bert, was knowledgeable, friendly, and very flexible. He gave us detail about each of the shops we visited, and answered all of the group's questions. He enjoys giving the tour, and it's obvious to the participants - he enjoys what he does, and he's good at it! I know a lot about chocolate already, but I learned some things that I didn't know from Bert. He was very patient whenever anyone wanted to browse or purchase, but he kept the tour moving along so no one got bored. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys eating quality chocolate, whether you live in the city or are just visiting. I plan on not only trying the other Zerve tours, but taking this one again sometime!! | ||||||

| I took my husband on this tour for Father's Day--he is a hopeless chocoholic--and we had a great time. We were lucky to have a very small group on our tour, although I'm sure it would be fun even with a larger crowd. Bert, our guide, was knowledgeable, personable, and funny and led us on a pilgrimage to five outstanding, upscale chocolate shops, explaining the basics and nuances of chocolate history and the art of it's production. I would recommend this tour to locals and visitors alike--my husband has been raving about it to our friends and family. A very successful Father's Day gift! | ||||||

| My husband treated me to a weekend in NY and this luxury chocolate tour. I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised! We were joined by two other couples and loved that the group was small. It kept things intimate. Our tour guide, Bert ,was knowledgeable and friendly. He gets an A++ for customer service and his ability to connect with us all and guide us through the city. I was impressed with the history he shared of each place we visited as well as the 'little known' facts and bits of trivia he shared on the chocolate industry. This guy knows his stuff! Bert has a great report with each shoppe we were in and we were treated well by everyone! Best of all... the chocolate. It was divine! I have never tasted such wonderful chocolate. How can I go back to Nestle or Hershey after this? Bert, fine chocolate and NYC have ruined me for life! :) Thank you all for a wonderful experience. I have already recommended you to my friends! | ||||||
