| The chocolate tour was superb, as well as delicious! Bert was very knowledgable about each individual chocolatier, as well as the process of making chocolate into its edible form. I would highly recommend this tour for chocolate lovers! | ||||||

| I purchased the tour as a birthday gift for my chocolate loving husband. He's a big fan of the Hershey's kind of chocolate, so I wasn't sure if he was going to like this tour, because it is a higher end kind of chocolate. Well, I shouldn't have worried. He absolutely loved the tour! Our tour guide was Bert, and he really knew his dark chocolate from his milk chocolate. Our group was 3 groups. We were on time, and the other two were a bit tardy. Bert was great calling them to give them updates, so that they could join the tour when we had moved to the next store. Luckily, they got there before we left. The descriptions of the chocolate were spot on, and Bert had very nice recommendations for us. We visited five shops, and had plenty of time for purchases after tasting. If you think you won't get enough chocolate, think again. We got to choose 2 pieces in each shop, and we also got a couple of chocolate drinks, besides. My husband at all of his on the spot, but I had half of mine wrapped to go. If you do that, be careful they don't get crushed in your bag. They are incredibly delicious, but very fragile! My husband is always ready to eat anything chocolate. However, by the end of the day, he said that for the first time in his life, he had eaten enough chocolate for the next two weeks!!! That was a successful tour in my eyes. This was to be a day of chocolate, so we went over to Max Brenner's for an early dinner. Needless to say, we weren't really very hungry. But, Max Brenner's was very disappointing. The food wasn't hot, the food just wasn't very tasty or well prepared, service stunk, and we were very disappointed with them. We should have gone somewhere else to eat, and much later in the day. We didn't have time to visit the M&M's store in Times Square, but it's on our list for next time. So, if you want to have the ultimate chocolate experience, take this tour. It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! | ||||||

| the tour guide was great. he really liked his job. the shops could have however sent us on our way with a little ' dogy bag'. it would have cost them hardley anything and would've make a nice impression. | ||||||

| We can't recommend this tour enough! We found the New Cuisine Tour on-line and since we like to take in culinary events whenever we are visiting somewhere interesting we chose your Chocolate Walking Tour. We've been telling all our friends that it was the highlite of our NY experience! Bert, our guide, was great fun: personable and extremely knowledgable. Though it was very hot over the Memorial Day weekend we were able to zip into one of the many chocolate shops to cool down and sample their wonderful specialties. Bert's idea of providing "cold pak bags" was brilliant as it allowed us to buy gifts for all our friends without worrying about them melting during the tour or before getting them back to our hotel. Our teenage guest also loved this tour so Thank You NYChocoTours for a thoroughly enjoyable introduction to the Chocolate Paved Streets of New York! | ||||||

| Definitely a fun thing to do on a Saturday afternoon. It was a beautiful day which made it very enjoyable. Nice walk around the UES and some good chocolates to go along with it. Made for a fun day and a memorable experience in Manhattan. | ||||||

| This was such a great experience. The tour guide (Burt) was very knowledgeable of the topic and was so very in tune with each of the our interests and needs. Burt made sure we all had a good time as well as that we learned from the experience as well. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves chocolates! You will learn a lot about chocolate AND get the chance to try some of the world's best chocolates. Never would I have had the chance to try these chocolates had I tried to find them on my own. I will say, though, that there was/is one draw back to having gone on this tour: Hersey just doesn't do it for me anymore. I am now a chocolate snob! Such a wonderful experience! Thanks Burt! | ||||||

| The New Cuisine Chocolate tour was a fantastic way to explore and learn more about the city I live in through a food I love - chocolate! Learning about the chocolate makers and their art really gives you an appreciation for what they do. Bert, our host, was very accomodating and insightful. I took my parents and a friend of the family (all locals) and we all had a great time and learned a lot. I highly recommend this tour for people who love to learn and have an appetite for quality chocolate :) | ||||||

| This tour was fantastic. Our guide, Bert, was personable, funny, and had a tremendous base of knowledge about chocolate. The tour was kept at a leisurely pace and contained a huge amount of information and wonderful chocolate. We started at Saks Fifth Ave and went to five shops. We received 2 samples at each shop. If you want to do something "different" in New York - this is it!! | ||||||

| As a long time tourist and one who often goes on tours in cities this one takes the cake and it is chocolate. I would caution you to eat some protein before this tour as the chocolate high starts early on this tour. By the second stop I was buzzing. All my friends want to go with me to NYC next time. Why? We can't resist the concept of a chocolate tour with a very knowledgable guide and goodies too delicious to describe. My only regret-I didn't buy a thing. I was way too busy enjoying myself. I will be back and I will be doing this again. Do I reommend this-Absolutely positively YES!!!!! | ||||||

| Both me and my mom are chocolate fanatics, and when coming upon this tour, we immediately signed up. Needless to say, the chocolates are absolutely out-of-this-world! Not only did we have a great time tasting the chocolates (with the tv crew filming us), our wonderful guide gave us a detailed history of chocolates, along with interesting facts that we never knew. High recommended! | ||||||
