Delicious!!!

We had such a good time on our chocolate walking tour. Not being from New York City, it was great to meet people that were familiar with the area and also loved chocolate. We went to several chocolatiers that I had never heard of and they were all very delicious, service was friendly and helpful, and our tour guide Bert, did an excellent job.

Learned more about quality chocolate that could be imagined. Every stop was truely an indulgence fit for kings, queens and emperors. Could one get too much chocolate? This tour will certainly get you on your way. Only the best of imported chocolates. We highly recomend this tour for any chocolate lover

So many tours are available, this one is so unique we just HAD to try it. The guide is fabulous, inserting tidbits of New York information along the way. It was well worth the time and money. The stores visited were wonderful and the chocolate was divine. (My husband doesn't like chocolate, and he LOVED the tour!) Thanks for the wonderful experience, one of my New York highlights.

Thank you Bert!!! How awesome to find a tour unique for locals and visitors to NYC!! My 14 old daughter and I had the day off and I wanted to do something interesting and fun. This tour covered it! We know more about chocolate than we ever thought could be possible. Bert is so knowledgable about the process of making chocolate to the intricate aromas, and flavors. His suggestions were superb. We were able to freely choose two pieces from each shop and two of the five we were given hot chocolate.. each very different. Our small group of nine was diverse, interesting and fun. Bert set the tone at the first shop and we were able to mingle and chat walking along 5th avenue and vicinity. We highly recommend a leisure two hours with Bert . Thank you, we loved you and all that you know about chocolate!

Choc. Cuisine review

We really enjoyed this cuisine tour of the Soho area! My son, who we were visiting, also enjoyed the trip. I would recommend that you bring a bottle of water until the co. provides it. It is a good idea to clear the palate in between choc. tasting. But what a "yummy" view of N.Y.

University of Chocolate

It's everything you ever wanted to know about chocolate. A great education about the delicacy. For example, chocolate comes from a fruit. At least, that's what I gathered. Guess it makes it an essential part of a balanced diet. Be prepared to tip the scales after the tour though, many chocolate samples later. Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. Bravo!!! It's a must do while in New York. If you're going to eat chocolate, you may as well learn about. This tour pulls off both items rather nicely...

Great Experience

My wife and I went on the European Chocoloate Tour as a gift for her birthday. My wife really enjoys chocolate and I thought this would be a great way to spend an afternoon. It turned out to be a great decision and we both had a wonderful time - here is why. First, our guide (Bert) was really awesome. He was engaging and informational, knew everyone at the shops and was just very pleasant to spend two hours with. Second, it was fun walking around trying different cholocates and learning why various countries have a different approach which leads to different tastes. Third, our guide was awesome. Seriously, I have been on many of these types of tours (various cities throughout the world and in the US and in different formats) but the single most important aspect is the tour guide. Plus, you are guaranteed to get Bert because he does all the tours. You will have a great time for a very reasonable price. We followed-up by going to a wine bar then out to dinner. I make this point to highlight that you don't gouge yourself on chocolate but you get enough great and different tastes to enjoy the event. I promise, I am not always so complimentary when I provide these reviews. This just happened to be a very good experience.

Lots of fun

We really enjoyed the tour. We had a great guide who was very informative about where chocolate comes from, how it is made and the differences between regions. We tasted many chocolates throughout the day and found a couple of shops we would not have found on our own. I was not a chocoholic before this tour (I went mainly for my husband and daughter) but there is a least one shop I will have to go back to every time I am in NY. A couple of tips for those taking the tour, bring a bottle of water to drink in between shops and a couple of napkins.

My adult children and I did this tour as a celebration of a Master's degree graduation for one of my children. We had a great time. The tour guide was informative, friendly and pleasant. The chocolate and cheese cake were delicious. This was well worth the money!

Two years ago, I took my 12th grade daughter to the mid-town luxury choc tour and we loved learning so much about something so few really know about - the joys of real chocolate. Just last week, i took my younger daughter, now in 10th grade on the SoHo tour. The tour guide is highly professional and quite knowledgeable, and we were taken to some really incredible places we'd never have gone if on our own. The guide knew the people at each spot and was able to describe virtually every kind of chocolate and its taste which helped all of us pick those we liked most. This is a real, professional tour by a skilled and knowledgeable operator who has a well-honed passion for the best in chocolate. It is a memorable experience.

Excellent Walking Tour

The walking chocolate tour was a great experience. We stopped at 5 shops in 2 hours. Our guide, Bert, was excellent and very knowledgeable about each shop. We learned more about chocolate than we ever knew and the best part was being able to sample pieces from each shop. Each shop is unique in their product. We would never have known these shops existed if we hadn't taken the tour. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for something different to do in NYC.

My husband, 12-year-old daughter and I very much enjoyed our Luxury Chocolate Tour on a recent visit to Manhattan. Our guide was passionate about the topic of chocolate and he taught us quite a bit in the process of walking to the assorted shops on the tour. Great way to explore the upper East side and feel more knowledgeable at the end! The tastings were great too :)
